We had heard about LâIgloo over the years from fellow skiers but had never tried it. Having decided to stop there while skiing at Christmas we had a lovely lunch where the choice of meals was really good and the food we had was excellent. It is not the cheapest but the location is nice and the service was really good from the friendly staff. We returned during the busy half term and it was a lot busier but the food came in good time and it was a great place to stop and enjoy the ambience and sunshine. During the busy periods it is worth stopping for an early lunch but it is easy to do a couple of extra laps of the pistes as the restaurant is at the top of the lift so you can tell how busy it is.

An excellent restaurant a short distance outside the ski resort of Flaine. Free transport in winter season. Pizzas delivery. Local specialities and gastronomic food . Amazing cocktails and excellent wine list. Pleasant service friendly staff. Open on wint
This place is a bit pricier than most in this resort. The quality of the food is good and the service friendly. Nice to be able to have some of the Savoy specialities by yourself for a 3⬠supplement, while often restaurants insist you order them for at least 2 people.

More a bar than a restaurant. Excellent ambiance with a small menu and great beers and cocktails.
We have visited here before but decided to go for breakfast this time. The waiter is very friendly and took our order quickly which also arrived promptly. The crepes were delicious and my husband had bread and preserves with butter which was also very fresh. Our drinks were good too. A great place to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine.

A kitchen with quads hands of women. The gourmet restaurant is open every day and all year round. The cuisine is homemade made from fresh produce. I am pleased to announce that the restaurant is rewarded in the 2019 MICHELIN guide fork, but also voted bes
We went as a couple one evening before Christmas 2015, the dining room is quiet and simply decorated. The menu offers local specialities. The chef clearly wants to offer gastronomic dishes making efforts on presentation and mixes of different tastes. The products are very good quality, we were impressed by the meat (veal and beef).Overall it's a good value for a fine evening, the atmosphere of the restaurant can be improved a bit. Madame, Monsieur,Many thanks for your lovely comment about our restaurant. Hope to see you anothers time.Best regards,Edwige, Jean-Marc & GaëtanLa FamilleEt l'ensemble du personnel

There's nothing better than watching someone who really knows what they're doing, grilling meat over an open fire. As an overall experience, the visual delight of being able to see, smell and hear your dinner being cooked, and then to be able to eat it, at Bistro Grill du Gron is amazing. I could have eaten there meal after meal all night really. With the meat, it was nice and simple baked potato, some great wine and a relaxing atmosphere. There were four of us and we all enjoyed our meal. I had entrecote, there were two ducks and a fillet.

This is our favourite slope side restaurant. All of the staff are really friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely amazing and really well priced.Always check out the specials board and remember to try the desserts, everything is really tasty. If you just want a drink, they do the best hot chocolate and cream ever. Can't wait to return next year.

Gourmet restaurant, fine and varied cooking, friendliness and cosy atmosphere. Terrace from May to September. Open from September to June.
We have eaten at most of the restaurants in and around Les Carroz and this is our clear favourite. Excellent food and an interesting menu - the typical Savoie dishes, but other choices too. The children's menu is also very good and thoughtfully put together. The dining room is cosy and there is always a warm welcome from the owners and staff.Dear Tedandosc,Thank you for taking time to share your experience of our restaurant and thank you for your excellent grading. All our team is highly honoured to be your "favourite in les Carroz". We are very pleased that you appreciate our warm welcome, our cosy dining room, our interesting menu with a varied choice, our excellent food and our thoughtful serviceThank's for your fidelity to our restaurant.Looking forwards to welcoming you soon again.Muriel, 04 50 90 36 93, apo74.fr

L'alpage de l'Airon est ouvert à partir du mois de Juin jusqu'à fin septembre Réservation conseillée Merci, à bientôt L'alpage de l'Airon is open from June to the end of September Booking advisable NO credit card Merci
We walked from top of the Kuduze lift gentle 30 min stroll with our dog. Excellent views and atmosphere, most seating is outside with brollies as sun hot! Cows with bell sounds nearby and beautiful lake. In winter this place is totally snowbound and not open! We had the set menu for euros 26.50 each. Very good salad with chicken starter, then 2 generous cooked ham with raisons / onions / polenta which tasted great! Then large helping of cheese and followed by a massive piece of apple pie!The staff were very friendly and accommodating! You fetch your own water from a "log" tap, great.Totally recommend.

Nearly ruined our Christmas. Despite emailing to reserve a table and then confirming we would be arriving Christmas Eve, we turned up to be refused a table. No apology offered, instead just insinuations that we hadnât properly confirmed. I had to show two email replies (the one wasnât enough) and then a shrug of the shoulders, as if âtough luckâ. I confirmed with Fabienne who coincidentally greeted us, however offed no apologies for her error. We were offered a table but told weâd have a limited stay period because a family were coming in an hour. So left as a result of the terrible hospitality. Avoid.

Une vue imprenable sur le Mont Blanc et une cuisine entièrement faite Maison. Spécialités savoyards
This excellent place was recommended to us by the receptionist at our hotel. Set in a quiet spot in the pretty town of Combloux it has a magnificent vista of mountains from its terrace including Mont Blanc which revealed itself as we dined. It is next to a bio ecological swimming lake which gives the impression of being a green lake. The food is not the cheapest but it is of good quality and a bit different with oriental tendencies. We had farm chicken breast pieces in a bowl with soy and chilli rice, courgettes, cooked onions, fennel. It was a very tasty salad but did cost 23 â¬. Also on the menu was a burger, tuna, boiled cod with ratatouille and seafood linguine. All around â¬20 or more. Desserts were â¬9 which seemed steep but my red fruit with cream and ice cream was good as was my wifeâs lemon tart. The owner was in close attendance and the single waitress was friendly and helpful speaking reasonable English. The place was doing good business for a Tuesday evening. Our bill including glass of wine, beer and two coffees was â¬76 incl service which was a reasonable price to pay for pleasant food in a fabulous location.
