Jellyfish is a large, bustling downtown restaurant with a lively atmosphere. The décor is modern, but the extensive glass, ultra-high ceilings and bar made it noisy and not the place for quiet conversation. The menu is very inventive, and the dishes can be eaten individually or shared tapas-style. We particularly enjoyed sharing various crudos, the heirloom tomatoes carpaccio and the grilled halibut. The wine list was extensive and eclectic. The specialty cocktails were inventive and enjoyable. Overall, it was definitely a fun experience that we would repeat if we return to Montreal.

We arrived at this restaurant and were welcomed by a rushed waiter who seemed to be important. Finally, the food was pretty good, but presentation good be better. Also, pouring wine is NOT a match, but could be an art. Somehow, probably due to the nice singer on Thursday, i did not say anything. Bar staff is cosy! Restaurant staff so so.

Renowned chef Joël Robuchon developed an innovative culinary concept: to offer top-drawer gourmet food that excites all the senses and serve it in a friendly and unpretentious environment. From Paris to London, Hong Kong to Las Vegas, L'Atelier de Joël Ro
It is undeniable that the food served at l'Atelier is on par with any of the best restaurants in the city and that it most likely offers the best plating/presentation in the city (at least compared to Toque, Maison Boulud, Chasse et Peche or Europea). If you go for the tasting menu, you won't be disappointed. Since the restaurant reads the reviews, I'll point out where they can improve:1) Not have a tacky paper on the plate holding the cloth napkin when you arrive. It looks cheap.2) The plates where not arriving all at the same time. A few times, the servers where not in sync and some guests were receiving their plates a minute or so before the others.3) The Tribute to Joel Robuchon is a bit too pricey and too focused on foie gras - at least when I went - compared to the other tasting menus. The vegetarian menu which was picked by one guest is great value.4) Perhaps build some form of dedicated access to the restaurant. The location of the restaurant is by far the biggest problem they will be facing on the long run. If it was located in a more cozy environment in the core of the city, it would be way more successful.Hello MaxMarchand, thank you for your note and we do appreciate your feedback. We read all the reviews and try to take advantage of them to improve the experience for our customers. Your four suggestions will be forwarded to the AJR's Brigade. Once again thank you and have a great day.

Went there with friends, it's our first time there...I had no expectations.First the room. Not big but you do not feel cramped. Being on the heavier side of the scale I hate it when the tables are so close that your behind is just over someone's plate as you try to squish between the tables to go to the bathroom. They are super welcoming, you can tell they are happy to see you and share their food with you! I had the snow crab salad....I could eat that everyday for the rest of my life! The taste was so fresh and delicate! I nearly licked my plate clean! For my main I had the ricotta and lobster ravioli....the sauce! THE SAUCE ! you could taste the love in this plate...everything complemented each other and it was a religious experience. You know when you taste something so wonderful that you hear angels Singing? The owners are delightful and the service is attentive and friendly at the same time. You can tell the owners know everything that is going on in that room at any given moment and that is awesome! For dessert we shared a delicious strawberry crumble with chocolate drizzle and ice cream dipped in chocolate.....This meal was such a wonderful experience! We will come back, again and again. This is not and everyday meal...this is OMG I'm treating myself to food heaven tonight!

Went there before a show at the theatre. Our little group of seven have tasted different and awesome sangria; the IPA beer was also on par. Our appetizers were great, main plates were very tasty and as the photos shows, plates presentations was excellent. Wine suggestion, outdoor terrasse, theatre proximity, the service in general -- all those small details were aligned. Expect a slow pace diner around 2h for the whole experience. Will go again for sure and I suggest either the deer bavette or the sausage and duck cassolette :)

Quebec, Canada Food Guide: 4 European food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in La Prairie
I hate cooking so I am very lucky to have this traiteur near our home. Every day they have a different menu and new dishes to take out. It is French cuisine. I have used them also for a couple of parties at home and each time it has been a success. Everything is always fresh, tasty and elegant. The service however is always slow....

Well I was not expecting much but boy was I surprised. The food was excellent. The service was friendly and good. You are sitting undercover but outdoors and there were a few flies. Just really really good food. Sorry my phone went dead so no pictures.

My family and I had a wonderful meal here recently. We love French food, but had never tried Alsatian food specifically. Right from the start, this charming little restaurant felt like stepping into Europe. From the friendly, but professional service to the ambience and delicious food, we were super thrilled. Highly recommended!

This is a regular stop for me and a top choice for a business luncheon. Quaint and cozy, the service is very attentive and friendly yet professional. The chef offers daily suggestions based on what fresh ingredients he can find. This time I had the magret aux bleuets et à la tomate fumée. It was exceptional. Cooked to perfection and a sauce that had been fussed over. My guest had similar compliments about his choice. A good wine list with all the right choices. Reservations are essential. Looking forward to my next visit.
