Grolle restaurant is a brasserie where gourmets and gourmands will find antraditional and varied cuisine. Here you will be welcomed with a smile, in awarm and authentic. Heated terrace at the edge of the river
Not only did we enjoy a lovely fondue (ok, the kids didn't like the taste of alcohol in the fondue cheese and preferred burgers, but the adults loved it) but also great atmosphere, very friendly and helpful service, and now we know what a "grolle" is. You will be handed you bill in one ;)

Read some good reviews, so we popped in for some food as we fancied a burger on transfer day. It's got a lovely little terrace for drinks and is central so has a great buzz. Nice surroundings inside and great service all the way through. The menu is very reasonable for the Alps too. We both had burgers so couldn't comment on anything else, but they were absolutely delicious and fries were great too. Very French, falling apart, real butcher meat, perfect seasoning, and with Foie Gras on top, was absolutely stunning. One of the best burgers I've ever had. Full stop. We'll be back...

The staff is friendly and always ready to help and the food is delicious. We stayed for a week at La Clusaz and kept going back for more. The servings are generous and the food never disappointed us once. I would highly recommend eating there.

Best burgers by far, great choice, all cooked to perfection, a great addition to the scene from the same team that owns La Praz. Keep it up boys excellent fun with serious cocktails.

A great location at the bottom of the slopes, nice food and drinks and a lovely service, what more can you ask for? All the staff we encountered on our visits during the week were very friendly. We would certainly recommend this place.

If you're ever in Col de Aravis, stop and get a delicious authentic home cooked meal of the region at Chalet Savoyard. The tartiflette, fondue, and a variety of platters which are served with delicious potato pancakes, and fresh cheeses are quite pleasant after a days hike. And the scenery is spectacular. Highly recommend this restaurant for fresh regional specialties.

Our family have been here on three separate occasions and enjoyed every meal immensely. Particularly favorite mains include the cote de beouf and the tartiflette. The salads are nice complements, and the tarte tatin, the tiramisu, the chocolate cake and the rib au lait are all great desserts. The house white and red wines are fine for my taste and great value. Best of all is the atmosphere which is truly buzzing on a Friday evening when the place is full. Dogs are welcome too.

This restaurant & bar was located in our hotel and we didnât really have any intention of spending much time there given all the restaurants we liked to look of in town BUT we loved the bar and the staff so we can back every afternoon/evening for apres-ski drinks, coffee on the (sun trap) terrace (with brilliants views of the slops) or for pre-dinner drinks. Great cocktails, wine list, local beers and nibbles! Then thereâs the restaurant, beautifully decorated and a great place for dinner with friends. The food was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. We loved it so much we booked to go back two nights later and we were not disappointed. The staff were all so friendly and great fun!We will be back!

We offer you a refined hospitality, quality dishes and an intimate setting, while remaining in the center of the village! The Pooh serves couples, families, workers and friends, but also knows how to handle bigger demands by preparing your personalized ba
On a recent skiing holiday, for a special occasion and to make a change from traditional Savoyard or Italian food, we treated ourselves to the Haut Cuisine at Lâourson. The food was fabulous and the set menus surprisingly good value for the quality. The amuses-bouches were lovely too as was the quality, complimentary Genepi. The service was attentive with English speaking staff for those who struggle with French. However, there was a loss of translation! When ordering a bottle of champagne, we were brought champagne by the glass which ended up adding rather a lot to the bill so do watch out for this!

This lovely stop boasts great local beer and a light lunch made of various cheeses and hams. The couple that run the place are extremely welcome and friendly but the friendliest member of the staff is their dog Gaia who greets you at the door and encourages you to come inside. We plan to visit again when we repeat the walk. Thanks for your comment! It will be a pleasure to see you again.
