Very well appointed restaurant. Calm atmosphere with good service. Wide range on menu to suit all tastes and budgets. We had veal fillet and fillet steak. Both coked to perfection and well presented. Would highly recommend. Quite relaxed as just up from main centre. We visited this restaurant off season with our little baby girl. The host did everything to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our little one. Very friendly & helpful guy. Lunch was really nice and served really efficiently. Hidden gem is their little terrace at the back of the restaurant with a stunning view on the valley. Amazing!

Le Feto is a very small restaurant so it may be worth booking in advance. It has a cosy, rustic atmosphere with three long tables taking up the whole room. The service was friendly. The menu offers a range of local specialties at reasonable prices. The fondue in particular is delicious.

We were recommended this place by a friend for its quality and value for money - and it was perfect. We ordered raclette (cheese and potatoes) and fondu, which came with a plate of charcuterie each.Apart from the excellent food, the most notable thing is that our host was very generous and attentive, and we were supplied with bread, potatoes and salad. Everything extra was offered (not asked for) and delivered with a smile! The bill came to â¬120 for food (6 people), and â¬50 for drink (two bottles of wine and a beer).Honestly I cannot fault this place, and everyone in our party agreed we had eaten very, very well.Bravo!!!

Ils sont tellement sympa et c'est super bon. Je comprends pas pourquoi ils ne sont pas encore dans Tripadvisor !
We turned up at 9.15 looking to eat a pizza. On arrival the waiter was holding a conversation with a couple of mates at the bar and then seemed offended that we did not say good evening on entering the restaurant.... Which by the way was not true .... Although it seems to me that the waiter should have said "good evening" first. We then asked where we should sit ...to which the reply was , sit where you like? Having chosen a table, the waiter then came up and asked us to sit at the next table ... To which I asked why should we change tables ... He replied that he just wanted us to sit at a different table. At this point, my wife and I thanked him and left. We have been summer visitors to La Chapelle for 30 years and we will definitely never return to this pizzeria?

We were out in the Abonndance valley for the day and looking for somewhere quiet and sunny to have lunch. We saw the sign of these main road and found the hh. We saw the sign of these main road and found the hotel restaurant just 20m away. Although we'd only planned a simple lunch we were tempted by their course lunch and specifically by the specials. A pate starter was accompanied by some lovely additions such as tiny cherries ter was accompanied by some lovely additions such as tiny cherries and mushrooms. Our main course was described as a casserole of fish. It was so much than this. A sublime arrayh than this. A sublime array of different fish in a stunning sauce surrounded by additional dressings on the dish and some of these best (boiled) potatoes I've had. We'd enjoyed these courses so much we both knew we'd cave in and have desserts. A vacherin for me and a deconstructed tarte citron vert for my husband. Service was just what you'd wish for.... Attentive but not intrusive. This was a real delight. So recommended by us.

On a snowy drive through the French mountains, about an hour from Montreux (CH) south of Lake Geneva, we found this restaurant and bar in the town of Abondance. The bar has a great decor with heavy wooden beams and wood paneled walls, and a very cosy looking, well stocked bar.We ordered one of the cold platters, and it came shortly afterwards with a basket of fresh crispy home-baked bread, homemade butter and pickles. The platter itself had an amazing terrine, cured ham, smoked ham, dried beef, various types of french sausage along with three different cheeses. Very impressive, and delicious to boot! The price we thought was very reasonable (19â¬). Washed down with a couple of the local beers, lunch was done and dusted...I highly recommend you try this eatery when next in the area, as you will not be disappointed.

We had the 32⬠menu. The food is subtle, sophisticated and beautifully presented. One of our best dinners out for a long time. Unexpectedly good considering itâs in a teeny tiny village. Modern understated mountain decor. Great wine. Be adventurous. Although this place serves fondue and other âtraditionalâ dishes, choose a dish the chef has had to work for. Excellent.

Have normally drunk beer here at the micro brewery but this time celebrated a birthday by having a meal upstairs in the restaurant. Great decor and atmosphere and service was very good. Food was excellent, tartiflette, chicken curry and steak was all excellent. Deserts were great too. Beer from the micro brewery up to its normal excellent standard as ever. Will definitely return again.

we visited the restaurant on a sunday evening, not many guests - but being at the end of the skiing season (29/3) a normal situation. The staff was very welcoming and offered and excellent service. The food was delicious and served in a 'appetizing' manner. We'll definitely be back!
