We have stayed here on several occasions and have always been pleasantly surprise by this hotel. Rooms are generally large and furnished in a very simple and unpretentious way. Rooms overlooking the garden tend to be quieter. The menu is wide ranging and has a good selection of dishes reflecting the local terroir. Rabbit is well used throughout the menu. Dishes reflect tradition but also some modern twists too. There is also a reasonably priced comprehensive wine list.Staff are professional and friendly and you are always assured of a warm welcome. It it certainly a place to which to return.

Lovely food (we took their recommended daily special of filet mignons and potato gratin, sat back and enjoyed the view over the alps in the sunshine. Friendly service and a lovely place to stop on our way down to Côtes d'Azur! Great place for lunch but beware, they only took orders and started serving from 12:00.

Very good quality, outstanding value, super service. A lovely place to visit before or after a hike, food is served any time you like. Very friendly owner, flexible, and focused on giving you a good time. You feel at home immediately. Food is simple, and stands out for quality, at very reasonable prices. A place to return to.

Very friendly staff but the place is too small to cope with the school holidays rush. Also the toilet was small and not in best condition. Slightly overpriced too.

We all opted for the â¬24 four course menu which turned out to be a great choice. The started was pate with salad. As my daughter is a vegetarian they substituted the pate with baked cheese on toast. There were three choices of main course - all superbly presented with delicious side vegetables. The main course was followed by a cheese course (white or hard) with a good choice of deserts to finish. As the £ to ⬠is strong at the moment, this turned out to be an extremely good value meal washed down with some lovely Cotes du Rhone. Highly recommended.

We chanced upon this hotel & restaurant and thought with a Bib Gourmand it might be worth staying. How wrong can you get!!!This is worth at least a Michelin Star but the service and style if food is superbly friendly. Quality of both is superb and a Star might formalise things too much. I would willingly drive 50 miles off route to stay and eat here. The best and most enjoyable meal we've had do far on this tour. A must visit location.

The restaurant offers a typical french and local food. Every dishes are homemade and most of the products used are fresh, local and organic.
Was super impressed by this little unassuming place that we happened upon in Gresse-en-Vercors during a hiking trip through the mountains in June 2014: It's a little chambre-d'hotes/bed-and-breakfast type place, run by a young couple, from the looks of it, but they also open for lunch and dinner. We were thirsty and hungry after a morning of hiking when we stopped for lunch in June 2014, they have an excellent selection of local beers, and a great, hearty lunch menu. My wife enjoyed the salad with warm goat cheese, and I had perhaps the best burger I've ever eaten in France: with local blue cheese and bacon, delicious! We were so impressed with lunch that we came back for dinner a couple nights later, and it was equally delicious. The waitress/manager was really nice, and the place was quite full for dinner so apparently the secret is out! Really good value for the money, as well, for France, and the views of the mountains (looking directly onto the Grand Veymont) in the outdoor seating area simply can't be beat!! If you come into Gresse-en-Vercors, do yourself a favor and stop here for lunch.
