Tout à fait par hasard , nous avons eu l'occasion de passer un très agréable moment à l'occasion d'une dégustation très satisfaisante de desserts .

Booked dinner for my wife and I on the Friday before Chantilly Arts & Elegance. All 3 courses were very good, without being outstanding, the meat was tender and tasty, the dishes were well presented. The service was prompt, except when it came to our bill, for which I had to ask 3 times, but I suppose they were very busy and there ere only 2 waiting staff. Parking was easy in the street outside, nice quiet residential area.

Vatel Chantilly is a 2-room, 2-storey building with an original and modern decoration that can accommodate up to 125 people and a pleasant sun terrace with 150 seats, a stone's throw from the racecourse, Chantilly Castle and the Living Horse Museum.
Chantilly is such a nice escape from Paris, especially in high tourist season. This place was recommended by some guys we met in our hotel and we found it just as a rain storm hit. They welcomed us in to a cosy table and that began our adventure. The menu is short with some interesting choices for starters, entrees and desserts. We chose the 35 ⬠fixed price menu. Everything we had was a pleasant blend of old and new flavors that we thought were among the best we have ever had in France. The fish with subtle creamy curried vegetables and the avocado toast were the real standouts. But the real hits for us were the desserts. No spoilers but you have got to try the Chocolate Sphere. You cant be in a hurry, this place takes its time but with terrific smiling service, it fits the relaxed feel of this little town. And the rewards were outstanding.

Heard mixed reviews about this restaurant prior to our visit ... we were not disappointed ! Top service provided by the friendly staff, and it warms my heart (and stomach) to see the chef sending out creatively interpreted dishes using local seasonal produce. Reservations highly recommended to avoid disappointment.

Hard by Chantilly racecourse and on the banks of the River Oise, this made an ideal stopping-off point en route to Calais. Decent room, good breakfast and first-rate dinner at £100 per head so close to Paris counts as a real bargain. Highly recommended/

Coffee shop offering speciality coffee from pure origin, tea and organic mate, chocolate Valrhona, pure juice. Small sweet and salty food homemade all the day (cheese cake, cookie, flan, macaron) and ice cream homemade. On place or take away.
No visit to Chantilly should happen without a coffee break at Couleurs... What a great little place, has been consistently great every year we visit Chantilly. Service was amazing, ever changing coffee as well. There is a great selection of both sweet and savoury snacks, all made locally... Only after the visit did I find out that the owners brew their own beer and that it is supposed to be just amazing. Next time will have to try...

A very busy restaurant with patrons from around the area and Paris, plus international tourists on their way from or to Paris or Northern France. Simple and unassuming, with informal, still accurate and careful service from the family of the managers or owners of the hotel it belongs to. We had good and relatively sophisticated starters and main courses: oysters, goat cheese on grilled eggplant slices in a cold tomato sauce, then rabbit with a mussels sauce and a steak in mustard sauce. We chose a caramel charlotte with salted butter sauce as dessert - all part of a reasonably priced set menu (around 30 Euros plus drinks, if memory serves). A substantial, interesting meal served in a great location - a green area on the river Oise bank overlooking a bridge, quiet and pleasant even if very near to the town and an shutdown, derelict sugar mill. They do cater well for English-speaking customers (I mean, English-only speaking customers...)

Our hotel recommended La Renardier for our group of 7 people. The food and service were fantastic. Truly a gourmet restaurant with excellent service . The attention to detail with each course was fantastic. They had a wonderful prix fix choice menu in addition to ala carte. Each dish was prepared with perfection and looked beautiful. The duck breast with a sweet sauce was perfect. The chess trolley was the best we have ever experienced. Deserts were of his quality. One of the few restaurants that had magnums of wine which was great for our group. If one is looking for gourmet meal experience at a reasonable price this is a good place to dine. We dined on the terrace of this Chalet-like pile of luxury savouring the lingering October dusk. The prix-fixe meal was delicious with the amuse-bouche, followed by a choice of filigree entree, main plate and desert. Outstanding were the fois gras, roasted sea bass and apricot tarte tatin. Perfect in every way. Service is old- school but snappy with adequate Franglese to satisfy the most challenged speaker.

We already booked a table in October last year and spent a perfect Valentines' evening. The service was amazingly friendly, flexible, professional and fast and the food was very innovative and freshly house made. A 5 course menu for 60⬠with this quality is actually quite cheap but the cherry on the cake was the Valentine tombola. Every guest had to chose a number and my wife won a bottle of champagne and a rose. We will certainly come back to this lovely region and especially to this little restaurant.
