We dined at "IL Casone" at Cervione, a tipical village situated in the picturesque Costa Verde in the mountain side. We had a very tasteful dinner outside with a nice light "house wine" and a bottle of corsican sparkling water. We had a good wild game terrine as hors d'oeuvre. The main entree' was a delicious escalope breaded in local grounded hazelnuts for me and my husband had a tasty braised kid in red sauce with gnocchi. We shared a nice corsican dessert . We spent 54 euros which I think is an honest price considering the high season.

We knew nothing about this restaurant, and we were famished and it was that awkward time between 2 and 6pm when most restaurants on Corsica stop serving. We saw this restaurant off of a traffic circle and stopped. It was a smallish restaurant, with tables inside, and outside under an awning. The place was fairly crowded when we came. We were not expecting much, but it was a great meal! The menu wasn't extensive, but we ordered from the daily specials and it was delicious! Mainly pasta dishes and pizzas were what we ordered, but there were other options. The house rose was excellent! The owner, whose English was slightly better than our French, was so excited when we told him we were from Holland. An obvious football fan, he happily recited players names (from the magical 70s teams) every time he passed our table. The bathrooms were clean, there was a great selection of ice cream to be had, but what was missing was a fan. It was really hot. The owner at one point went out to water his plants and decided to water the passing cars and trucks as well. It was amusing.I'm not sure if anyone would intentionally go to this town (it was just on our path), but I would gladly recommend it and go again if I had the chance.

Wide choice on menu, all cooked well. Specialise in crepes, but many other dishes available. Wait staff good. Really cannot be faulted for an especially good lunch.Warning: entrance from main road immediately by restaurant is ONE WAY but the sign is no longer there - enter by going south to the next (tiny) road (to the east) and drive one way system on narrow road behind the shops and restaurant.

We were underwhelmed. Service took ages as they were oacked and didn't have enough staff. The wrong food was delivered and then when I asked for the dessert menu, I was given the bill.Mediocrity abounds.

Nice place, friendly service, good price. Good quality and various plates. A restaurant I would like to recommend. Taste the mussels for example.

Traditional restaurant, fresh produce, theme parties (paella, Corsican specialities), fresh fish, animation and shows every evening.

Fast and professional service. Friendly and competent staff. Delicious food with authentic flavours, served to us by the cook himself. We recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to savour a phenomenal meal. Wear long sleeves if windy because it is a terrace bar, so no inside. Enjoy travellers! ââ¡ââ¡

Enjoyed a lovely evening meal here. We shared a bruschetta for our starter and then had the veal, a cheese burger and pork dish. All food was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. House wines were good. Couldnât manage a dessert. Complimentary lemoncella to finish with. Good Corsican food. Would recommend.

Limoncello e mirto gentilmente offerti.2 pizze: 24â¬
