Lunch (menu du jour) was very good - soupe de poissons au basilic was exceptional and everything else was very good (and reasonably priced). The wine list is superb - two-sided sheet (one white & rosé, the other reds) mostly regional and everything available by the glass, pichet (25), carafe (50) or bottle and also all reasonably priced. The one sour note (bémol) was the service - what there was was fine, but there was not enough of it! They really need to add a serveur to the team. Very convenient (about 10 seconds away) for the Musée Champollion.

Thus busy restaurant has a large, attractive outside dining area with plenty of shade. They make an effort to combine pizza and pasta with local ingredients but the results aren't great. Neither of us finished the thick, doughy and greasy pizzas that were lacking the Mediterranean touch.

This restaurant had a number of locals dining, including families with children positioned so as not to disturb others. I dined alone at an outdoor table and enjoyed the experience: food and service and atmosphere. I wanted just the right level of activity, away from the hubbub of the main square but popular enough so as to have a bit of a crowd. I hit it just right.

This awesome little restaurant is run by an amazing young Irish man Michael and his French fiancée. They are both talented and imaginative chefs. The products are the very best, sourced from tiny local producers (he actually butchers his own meat and makes all sorts of goodies such as black pudding à la Clonakilty ( ;-) )and fromage de tête, and he also forages and he had picked "the ail des ours" on my dish on Paddy's day! The wines are the stuff of legends and he has a stories galore to enchant you about the 'vignerons' and other producers. We ate there three times, the cooking is deceptively simple and inspired. The kitchen crew, when we were there, was exclusively female, which we were told by 'Mike', contributed to producing a good atmosphere, and I must say it made me happy to see women(open kitchen) au piano! The experience was a holistic one, totally unpretentious but of quality. I rate this experience as one of the very best I ever had in France ( I am French ;-) and have eaten in a lot of serious eateries). We will be back as soon as possible! Food for the soul for sure ... If you ever go to Figeac!

This is basically a shop selling quality local produce supplied by the smaller suppliers from the Lot and Quercy area. They also run a small restaurant on the same premises with a charming terrace serving (amongst other dishes) some of the very same delicacies you can buy in the shop...!!How good is that..? Try it before you buy it..!!Although it is located in a prime tourist spot, with a lot of passing trade (just opposite Figeac's Tourism Office), it serves much much better food than most of the other restaurants nearby which are banking on their location and remain just plain basic "Tourists Traps": i.e. poor quality fast food at exorbitant prices... We have made many visits to Figeac over the last few years and this is definitelyour favourite stop for lunch and/or dinner.

We parked our cars in Corn. Then rode our bikes 30 kms up the valley. Returning to Corn in time for lunch! A lovely traditional restaurant in a very pretty village. We enjoyed mains and dessert. The duck confit was popular amongst our group. Great value for money.

Though perhaps a hundred yards from where the majority of restaurants seem to be, this restaurant is well worth following the signs. The food was excellent, the service professional but relaxed, and the prices reasonable. Not touristy, just very good value

Dinner for seven business associates, and the food was up and down. The fish soup was excellent, while the foie gras flan was unremarkable. The scallops were very good while the lamb was poor. The wine selections were good and well priced. Not sure what to make of it.

At the crossroads of Auvergne , Rouergue and Quercy has developed one of the fastest growing cities in the medieval noon. Come discover a Refined traditional cuisine and terroir. A large market of flavors in the heart of the Lot , you wait! A 1930's style
Our hotel reception recommended this restaurant as the hotel restaurant was closed on the evening we arrived. The food was just outstanding - all prepared in house. Cold tomato soup with basil sorbet gives perhaps a flavour of the style of cooking. There were three or four menus to choose from - catering for the poor soul on a diet to someone (ie my husband) who was out to make the most of this opportunity to sample local produce beautifully cooked. The service was excellent - with a little presentation when the dish was brought to the table. The decor was, to our eyes, unusual but don't hesitate for a moment - you'll not regret it.

Small typical restaurant in the historic center of Figeac. You will enjoy lunch or diner with buckwheat pancakes, big salads, meat, sea food, sweet pancakes and deserts. The team will welcome you with "Lotois smile" and will give you recommendation in Fre
We ended up here when walking thru Figeac. Not sure what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised. The salad cabecous was very well and the galette fromagiere was a very nice surprise. I have a weakness for melted cheese and the combination of mozzarella, emmental, cabecous and roquefort is perfect.
