This little creperie tucked away slightly from the main drag at the old port is our favourite first meal in Erquy. Owned by Thierry and Francoise Anglard, it is as warm and welcoming as they are. Francoise makes the best crepes, to your taste. I like my sweet crepes crisp with sugar and lemon and when they arrive, sighs of delight are all you hear and a crunching sound before, "Une autre SVP" and the drumming of fingers till the next one arrives. My husband always gets the buckwheat crepe with andouille sausage (chitterlings?) and cheese and our son gets ham and cheese whilst I get the onions and mushrooms. All the crepes are thin, well filled and delicious. Cider for the first thirst, wine with the meal and a quick coffee for the finish... yes, Le Chalut is always on on walk to and from the beach.

Invited the family just after Xmas for a seafood lunch at Erquy just north of St Brieuc. Not too many on the Saturday and had a nice table overlooking the bay. The service was a bit disinterested but sort of OK, had to go look for someone to pay at the end. The food was very average, several of us had the stuffed sole but it was overcooked. If I were going back then I'd try elsewhere.

We have enjoyed several lunches at the Relais either on our own or with friends and family. Each occasion was memorable and a success. On this grey Sunday in Brittany which followed many stormy and cold days, we were looking forward to our lunch at the Relais. Fortunately we had booked two weeks in advance as the restaurant was full when we arrived. A lovely room with a large fireplace, was dedicated to those wishing to partake in the special Saint-Valentin menu. The room had been tastefully decorated for the occasion and brighten the day whilst making us feel very welcome. Both the cuisine and service were of the usual high standard. We certainly won't wait for the next Saint-Valentin to return to the Relais!

We are eight backpacking the Emerald Coast of Brittany from Erquy in the west to Cancale in the east. It will take 7 days. So not to carry food weight, we have targeted a number of eateries along the coast. One is Le Petit Saint-Michel for a late lunch after some 12 km of trekking.Brittany is known for its buckwheat pancakes, or "galettes de sarrasin". Don't confuse the thicker, hardier galettes with crepes - not the same. Eight adults with different ages and appetites result in varying dishes. I can say that everyone thoroughly enjoyed the tasty and hardy fare here. Dining outside in the sun, and with a sea view just made it all the more pleasurable. If you find yourself along the Emerald Coast, and you want really good, fresh, tasty food, I recommend Le Petit Saint-Michel to you.

This is our favourite restaurant in Brittany. The food is far superior to any other restaurant and also reasonable. The three course â¬23 menu is spot on, each mouthful is delicious. The ladies who serve are very friendly and smiley. We have eaten here many times and its never let us down.

C'est juste une crêperie Bretonne authentique où on se régale car ça n'existe pas ailleurs et où on se sent bien. pas de prétention, que du bonheur,. Autant pour les enfants que pour les parents. à part l'incontournable Nutella, aucun produit industriel .
Excellent service from the outset. Especially helpful with my poor efforts at French. The menu is excellent and there is something for everyone here.I had lunch and then returned for an evening meal. The mixture of mustards and small peppers in the vinaigrette is exquisite.

Crêperie en plein centre ville à 100 mètres de la plage. Un jardin avec terrasse accueille les familles ou les groupes pour passer un moment de détente. Tous mes plats sont faits maison il est préférable de réserver en saison
Visited twice on recent trip. Ice cream, chantilly and caramel sauce is just devine. Staff impeccable, polite and friendly - helping us with our french along the way. Beautiful calming setting. Definitely on our list to go again when we return.

We were pleased to find this well reviewed place only a short distance from our campsite at Les Pins and went on the last night of our holiday as a treat. The food is not cheap but is very good value and beautifully cooked and presented by the husband and wife team. We liked the informal ambience which you don't usually get in a place with food this good. Highly recommended.
