It is not easy to start from scratch replacing a one star establishment, but Maison du Terroir is up to the task, and they really do remain true to the terroir, with an deep and well-curated selection of wines from Maury.Aude, the sommelier, and Eve, the chef, are genuinely devoted to making the experience a great one.Their wine shop is also a great place to get some of the harder-to-find Maury wines.

We have spent many holidays in Duilhac. Every year we keep coming back to this very nice place on the road to the Peyrepertuse castle. L'Aouzine is a very charming and colorful restaurant. They serve snacks, icecream, tapas and a plat du jour. Everything they serve is very fresh and of fantastic quality. The meat comes from the owners farm. I especially like the owner's great eye for detail. The food looks as good as it tastes. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch, diner or just drinks!

Venez a l'Auberge pour decouvrir sa cuisine traditionnelle et gouteuse, dans un cadre rustique.les terrasses avec vue sur le Chateau
We had an excellent meal here. Despite our rubbish French and the staff speaking limited English, they could not have been more helpful. Food really tasty- completely agree with previous review- the beans were divine! Atmosphere relaxed. We ate early but it was filling up as we left. Does not look much from the roadside but definitely worth a visit.

Stopped off for a coffee on the way up to Chateau Peyrepertuse. The two guys that ran the place were very friendly and chatty and the coffee was so good, I stopped on the way back down. The first thing they said was, "Hello again. Sorry, but we've run out of coffee." So I stayed and had Bavette steak, frites and a beer for â¬10 ... fabulous food, a great welcome and real good value for money.

We decided to go to EAT to this restaurant in the centre of Maury. You have a menu with entrée, main course, desert and coffee. All for 16 EUR.The food was excelent, a Saumon cake ( similar than a Quiche Lorraine), a burguinyoise with pasta and carrots, a flan de café with caramel and last the coffe. The Owners are extremely friendly and I recommend this place to everybody who want to taste french and local food at this region.

Not having time to stop for a fulllunch we dived into this place offering a range of snacks and salads. It was nice to see them serving local beers and the service was prompt and friendly. However the salads were a huge disappointment. Costing around 8.50 euros the salade Catalane sounded good but was nothing more than lettuce, hard boiled egg, couple of olives and a bit of tinned tuna with some very strange tasting tomato sauce. Others in our party had hamburgers which were ok but nothing special. I suppose with all the tourist trade in this village they don't need to try too hard.

We enjoyed dinner here, while travelling through the Pyrenees. We were welcomed with friendly smiles and, as we were travelling with our small dog, even he was welcomed.I had goats cheese salad and coq au vin. Both were served fast and were delicious. The Rose wine served as well complimented the food well. My wife said her meal was equally delicious.By the time we left, the restaurant was pretty full, with a number of obvious regulars enjoying their meals.A pleasant, simple and efficient restaurant and we enjoyed our dinner.

Attractive village restaurant run by second generation of the family. A friendly welcome. I chose the ⬠29 menu with a ⬠3 supplement for foie gras which was simply the best I have ever tasted. This was followed by a civet de sanglier (wild-pig stew), a huge serving with a lot more than a kilo in a bowl - very tasty. Dessert was a delicious fig-tart.The wine I chose was from a local producer - Chateau Trillol, 4 km away nr Cucugnan - at ⬠19/bottle. When I commented how good I thought it was, the restaurateur fetched me a leaflet which listed the range and retail prices at the vignoble. My ⬠19 bottle would cost me ⬠9.40 in the shop: first time a restaurateur has done that for me !I did drop in and buy 3 bottles the following day.
