We were searching for a place for coffee and a little snack after a tour through all ".. Beaches". No restaurant, bar or someone else were open. After a while we found Comptoir Gourmand. A little restaurant / creperie with a all kind of special dinner, lunch, drinks, desserts. Little dishes with fondly decoration and cloth napkin and a enchanting service (english spoken). We had very good coffee and crepes flambeed with calvados (one of the best we had in our time in the Normandy) at reasonable prices. When you stay in Courseulles-su-mer, visit Comptoir Gourmand. Its recommendable.

On our first evening of our road trip to Tuscany we ate at this great restaurant. The food was fresh and well cooked. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The convivial atmosphere made the whole dining experience even better.I had half a dozen oysters and then moules mariniere. Gorgeous, and at 30 euro a head great value for money!

Old totally renovated inn of the seaside situated 100 meters away from the sea. The hotel with restaurant La Pêcherie has a beautiful stained glass window offering a unique character to the establishment. A traditional and sophisticated kitchen from fathe
Visited as a lunch venue. Chose the menu du jour at around â¬19. We couldn't believe the value for money or the skill put into each dish by the chef. We had the cheaper menu but could not fault the quality or the service. We all left feeling full and delighted with the meal. We couldn't help but wonder what the Al la carte or evening dinner would be like. Would be nice to go back and try.

The service and atmosphere in this busy restaurant was perfect. Everyone apart from me had the moules in various sauces and all pronounced them superb. I had a wonderful fresh salad.Prices were reasonable and we would certainly call here again if we're in the area, I have no hesitation in recommending Les Embruns

We arrived for lunch without a reservation and were lucky to be accommodated as the restaurant is clearly popular with locals (on our day, several small parties celebrating occasions). We were seated very quickly and had a lovely water view. As Canadians, we were there to visit âJuno Beachâ so to be able to look down at the beach was particularly moving. We got our drinks quickly and had time to peruse the diverse menu. Our server recommended the dayâs seafood special which two of us ordered and he was bang on! The other two meals were equally pleasing. There was ample servers for the lunch hour crowd all doing their job effectively. We enjoyed the meal, the service and the location and felt lucky to be accommodated at the last minute. (We found street parking, but learned later there is ample private parking). In brief⦠loved it!

We arrived late in Bernieres-sur-Mer and found As de Trefle by following the signs in the village. We had their menu du jour (menu of the day) which was an appetizer, starter, main course, and dessert. The service was quick and kind - we knew only a little French, but the staff did their best to explain the food in English :) All together a delicious meal and in a very nice setting with attentive waiters. BTW, if you're a cheese lover, you've come to the right place... ;)

We enjoyed our meal here but think there are other better restaurants in Courseulles-sur-Mer. The fish is quite fresh. Our bill with drinks was 57 euros.

Located in Courseulles-sur-Mer, Le Mattélie welcome you in a warm and friendly atmosphere. With us no "fuss" as natural. Our key word "The home made" fresh and seasons that Chief cooks with love and passion. Fine wines to accompany his dishes and everythi
We ate here as a family after researching restaurants in the town. We had the set menu (â¬25 i think) which was decent value given the exchange rate post Brexit. The food was nicely presented and tasty. My only moan would be the small size of the portions, which were a little small. The service was excellent and friendly. Many restaurants make most of their money from the booze, which was the case here. You do feel like you are being milked when they charge â¬20 for a wine you could get for â¬5 in the supermarket - there really is no need for a 400% mark up.Hello Mr Steve2826,Thank you for your comment, delighted that you enjoyed it, we struggle to find good products and this is also true for wine, and I can assure you that the Mercurey you had taken, you will not find it in supermarket to 5 â¬. That's guaranteed.Thank you for your visit and see you soon.

This restaurant is by the marina and should have a good outlook but it is bland and uninviting and in the evening quit dull . The outside of the restaurant is also unimpressive. But inside the service is very good, the maitre de very helpful and the food very good as is typical of the Normandy Coast. I had the best oysters at â¬11 per half dozen and a very good entrecôte to follow .Give it a go,you will not be disappointed.
