I just found this pearl, offering mainly one dish - Bo Bun - but in a really fantastic quality. All ingredients are of high quality and fresh and the taste was really marvelous. You could taste that it's cooked with passion The small restaurant is operated by a charming couple, she is cooking and he is doing the bar and service. Both are very nice persons who in the best sense welcomed me. It felt more than visiting friend than going out for a restaurant.I will come back for sure!

This is "Cuisine du Marché", Essentially French standards but prepared with an attention to detail that is really deceptive, it looks simple, but everything is freshly made by a chef who has worked in Michelin starred restaurants. Generally a choice of 3 starters, and 3 mains? and a limited choice of dessert (not their strong point)? You won't find better value for money than this.

We went here while visiting my sister in Paris. The waiter spoke very good English and made us feel very comfortable. It is very small, 5-6 tables and they have a couple of dishes for each course available, all of which were very good. They also went to the trouble of making something for a little nephew who came along with us. Reasonably prices around 16 euro for main course.

Two Chefs in the tiny kitchen of a neighborhood restaurant, two guys on the busy floor - pretty amazing what the team delivers. The octopus and white asparagus was tender and cooked to perfection, the beef tartare was full of flavor, the rabbit pastilla was original and the fish was excellent.

In a cosy and unpretentious bistro atmosphere in the heart of the Batignolles district of Paris, our chef Jay whips up creative and delicious gastronomic set "surprise" menus that change with each market.
An amazing find.. Food and wine excellent a very good atmosphere with helpful staff. We enjoyed the whole caviar experience then had the 4 course menu with paired wines. Definitely to be recommended.

Excellent sea food restaurant in one of the nearby quieter suburbs of Paris. This restaurant is run by a charming husband and wife team. The husband chef knows good quality fish and seashell produce. He can do the classical French seafood dishes with personal takes of his own. The Fish Choucroute plate is not often found in many restaurants. Les coquillages are fresh and the seafood platter is fresh and enticingly presented. Madame, la ched de sale, is very accodmodating for both French and English speaking patrons.

And they were pretty high expectations.I went to La Cocotte for lunch after my coworkers had raved about it repeatedly and I was very pleased with my first visit. The gentleman manning the restaurant was incredibly knowledgeable of the ingredients making up the menu and clearly knew his wines as well. Our starters were all lovely and we tried a few (terrine, crab remoulade, and escargot), but the best part was the mains. We collectively shared a cote de boeuf, tartare, duck breast, and lovely almond-encrusted fish. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared with the kind of service I want at any restaurant. At the end, I was as pleasantly surprised by the bill. It's not an inexpensive place by any means, but the quality of food well-justified the cost. The do have a reasonably-priced lunch menu as well with a starter/main or main/dessert...I really wish I had saved room for dessert at the end, both options looked delicious.I'm already looking forward to returning!

My husband decided that this was the place for us to enjoy Valentines. Perfect. The menu for the evening was one of a series of wonderful lobster dishes. My husband is allergic to shellfish so a special menu was created for him, with our own special menu, lovely touch. The Sancerre wine worked wonderfully well with the various lobster dishes and with my husbands food. The food was beautifully presented and the taste was heavenly. The service was wonderful, I do not speak good French but did not have to worry, front house did superbly in English. The service was pitched perfectly, glasses filled and tables cleared just right.I hope to have the occasion to rerun to Paris and La Barrière de Clichy very soon. The cherry on the cake is Tyson who was eager to please just like anyone in the service industry, Tyson is the gorgeous front of house dog, he has the best temperament and is ever so lovable!
