A lovely restaurant with a warm welcome. We really enjoyed our lunch and a big thank you to the family. The portions were generous and tasty traditional cooking at its best. The other diners appeared to appreciate their meal.

At the heart of the old village, you can find this lovely little restaurant/gallery enclosed in a round court. It's a family business, held by one of the family's daughter where you'll find yourself immersed among many paintings of her sister. A truly cozy ambiance and delightfully decorated! Attached to the restaurant there's a little gallery managed by the mother, with the artwork of the father displaying paintings of the village as well as nude drawings. One can say this is a mandatory stop to visit and enjoy the amazing experience! The food is deliciously prepared and served, with all the care one deserves.

Customers already seated were small groups of locals and a group of eight of us wanted lunch. We waited just a few moments whilst the friendly waitress checked with the kitchen that they could cope with us. We were quickly seated, drinks ordered and food chosen from the limited but typically French menu. Everything we had was very tasty and it was a pleasant corner to sit outside in the sunshine for lunch. The owner's wife (who had been waiting on us and washed up) was then despatched to open La Remise across the street for us to mooch around.

we ate here on an overnight stop to the south. The restaurant is quirky, arty and stylish, and the menu echoes that. We had the table d'hôte which was really good, using local produce and prepared with great attention to detail - excellent local wines and perfect service. all this served on a balcony overlooking rolling hills as the sun set. not bad for a stopover!
