We visited this restaurant twice whilst staying at the local Chambres d'hotes de Magali and on both occasions were delighted. The family run restaurant is a most welcoming place and, sitting outside on the terrace, we were able to enjoy the atmosphere of this small village (/hamlet) whilst eating excellent food. We enjoyed the classical Corsican cooking and wine, but also the superb pizzas, which are big in both size and value. Full of charm, yet straightforward in many ways, this is a delightful restaurant in which to while away a summer's evening.

This little casa is perfect for an off the beaten track romantic meal. We definitely struggled a little with the lack of English, but honesty thatâs our fault for our terrible or lack of French not theirs. I had what translates as a âDentistâ fish, so no clue what that is but apparently itâs a good local fish. Loved it. My boyfriend had the lobster which he was able to meet and greet right before it was cooked. It was a long meal with good waits between courses but we werenât in a hurry to go anywhere as we were enjoying the location so much. So glad our hotel recommended this place. One thing thatâs very important to mention is that, we traveled all over corsica and went to some Michelin star restaurants and their chocolate cake with the soft centre was to die for! It was so so so good! Pics below

We stayed at this little 5bedroomed hotel/restaurant for 7nights. What a fabulous experience. The restaurants both inside or outside on the terrace are both charming. I donât know where to start with the recommendation on the food - it is all superb (except the Espladon - Swordfish = tough). The Beignets - sooo good. Ravioles de gambas - fantastic. Interestingly cooked meats served with love and care. The fresh Charcuterie cut, while you watch, so thin you can see through it! Outstanding, but simple desserts. Wine expensive. (Corsican wines to to be). Service rather slow when there are only two of you. WC. immaculate. Private parking. Breakfasts good. The only down side is the bumpy, single track road to get there. Do go, it is wonderful.

We walked into the GR 20 because we needed help. We were staying in an apartment just across the street, I couldn't get hold of the agent and my cell phone died! The people there couldn't have been more helpful. Once we were settled in we went over for something to eat...and what a surprise when we walked into the back. The room is modern and sophisticated in style and the service was very good but what really excited us was the wood burning oven. We ordered a pizza and it was superb. My daughter lives in Brooklyn, NY and the pizza at GR 20 was as good as any I've had there. I love frogs legs and these were divine, with just the right amount of garlic (which means lots). The pizza, 3 glasses of wine, a cafe and an eau de vie was 19euro, very reasonable for the quality, service and the ambience.

I was feeling the pressure of what 7 items to put into my salad from a large selection of possibilities. Feeling like a baby and unable to decide, I finally came up with the following list: artichokes, asparagus, beetroot, avocado, bocconcini cheese, and char-grilled eggplant. I asked that they put those choices on a bed of spinach and sprinkle it with aged balsamic vinegar. For an extra charge of $3, they added a few slices of grilled wagyu beef. The whole thing was tasty, but I felt as though I was being subjected to a forced diet just to accompany a friend who is a dedicated vegetarian.

We came there for dinner and spent a nice evening at the beautiful terrace of A Stazzona. Luckily we were there very early, otherwise we wouldn't have got a table without reservation, as they're almost every evening (in high season) fully booked. Food and wine was delicious and cooked above average. Recommendation!

Restaurant traditionnel situé au plein coeur du village de Calenzana à 15mn de Calvi. Cuisine méditerranéenne.
The food was absolutely fresh and tasty. The menu had something to please everyone and the portions are generous which is perfect for sharing around the table. The service was very friendly & efficient which isn't a given in France and the prices very reasonable. It's also a nice feature to be able to see the Chef at work. Last but not least, this restaurant is spotless which for me is a good indicator of the staff/owners hygiene standards. All in all, we love this place and recommend it strongly. We will be back!

Spécialités de viandes Corses, cuisson au feu de bois. Le restaurant ne prend pas la carte bancaire.
The restaurant has a beautiful garden, so you sit in a romantic ambience underneath trees. Sometimes there is some live music, they play guitar and sing songs in french, corsican or spanish. The staff was very nice, not only professional but also amicable, when we went there the second time they recognized us and we were even welcomed by handshake. The food and wine was delicious and cooked above average. It's not cheap but also not especially expensive and definetly worth the price. We ca. 30⬠per person, wine included. I had both times meat which was very soft and tender. I would have only wished, that they serve not only potatoes with the meat, but also a little bit of vegetable. This restaurant was a highlight during our holidays!
