Le Petit Boucot is located in Nantes close to the Graslin Theatre and has a 24 seats capacity. Our Chef makes a creative and generous cuisine, cooking local and seasonal products. All our dishes are homemade and we change our menu every day. See you soon!
It perhaps tries a little too hard to meet "Masterchef" standards.Everything was good, but lacked the "wow" factor. My Japanese raviolis and sea bream main were good. The cheese for dessert was okay. The serving staff were especially pleasant and friendly.I recommend reservation in advance.

Food: this a creperie, so you will find the normal dishes like ham/cheese/eggs...BUT what you really want to try are the specials: my wife got a Gallette with scallops in a mild curry sauce. Truly amazing. I got the Sardines Gallette, if you like fresh sardines..go for it. For dessert if you like preserved orange and chocolat..get the Crepe! Service: the staff is really really nice! and they went out of their way to prepare a nice personalized plate for our 4 year old boy. Only issue: they get booked fast and it is a small place, so make sure you call well ahead. but it is worth the wait!

This is a friendly and simple restaurant on the river in Nantes. It is nearly directly acros from Ille de Machine. The owner grills the meats on a charcoal pit in the restaurant. The food is simple and delicious. But make sure you come hungry as there will be plenty. In the end we shared two dishes between our family of four and it worked out well. Also, the desserts are nearly America-size, and delicious as well. My kids thought they had died and gone to chocolate mousse and tiramisu heaven. The owner and his wife are also very friendly people We were sad we weren't able to come back with a bigger appetite during our brief stay in Nantes

Home customer limit impolite worse than a fast food there is only by paying at the checkout that you will be entitled to a little consideration. The lemonade of the children's menu are cut in the water and the burgers are served cold with the unmelted cheddar, the frits too fat and too salty ... In spite of having reserved a table one finds oneself in a corner near the box which does not Should be a table ... We will not return despite our habits in Trentemoult!Hello FamilyfirstThanks for visiting our restaurant and for your comment.First of all our lemonade is not dilute with water. Our bottled limonade is the same that is served for kids menu, sometimes when the bottle is almost empty, lemonade and bubbles may be less vigorous. If you had ask to your waiter we would have change your glass. You just had to askThen, about your table..The one you were at is one of the most appreciated by our customers, some of them especially ask for this table. Once a gain, If you had ask to your waiter, we would have suggest you another table. You just had to ask.About the bread, an artisan baker delivers our high quality bread every day and our meat is fresh and minced carefully in our restaurant.I am really surprised you say that your hamburger could have been served "cold".But once again you just had to ask your waiter, we would have prepare another one.You just had to askBut your plates were empty when the waiter came for laying the table, maybe our hamburgers were not as awfull as you describe in your comment. To conclude, I invite every people reading me to informe their waiter if ever they had any problem during their visit in our restaurant, you just have to ask.Unfortunately, if you say it after you leave and not during your lunch, I can't do anything.Hope to see you soon in our restaurant.Briac

I called in to ask if they served vegetarian dishes. The lady asked the chef who was happy to accommodate. The service was superb. They served a small palate warming dish which was a pleasant surprise. The starters were lovely. The main dishes were delicious. We had a fish dish which was cooked really well and my veggie main which was delicious. The dessert was the most excellent course. They gave us some beautiful cookies and biscuits after dessert. The drinks were served well, my cointreau had ice and sliced orange in. Very good place to visit.

Dinner. The place is very elegantly decorated, with view of island tip and river. Nice view of the kitchen also. Service was efficient and Gentle. Only strange part was the wine specialist that only appeared upon our request and was not very helpful, basically throwing a massive book of wine in my lap and leaving us. The food. We picked the 70 euro menu and hardly handled everything that came. All was beautifully served. Most was tasting good or at least with interestingly flavors or aromas. Two or three itens were rather bland (eg. melon pieces) and the canard breast needed more cooking (hard to cut and chew).Overall, a great and memorable experience. Very recommended!
