There isn't any alternative in this neighbourhood for fine dining. In that respect, this place may attract patrons. Food is pretty good up to expectation with price reasonable. My gripe is service, especially by a particular youngster. He is polite in words but nothing but complacent so much so that I decided never to return there. Too bad. Thanks for your contribution.I suppose that you were served by a young guy wich is not anymore in our staff...We have a girl team since April so I suppose your experience were before or you made a mistake about the place you were...Hope to see you another time,Bests regards,VBL

We couldn't complain about the warm welcome we were given and the way they explained their ordering system. You order everything at the bar, before being shown to your table. The place was clean, the food was good, although the choice was limiting. If you don't like beef - forget it! That evening I was extremely ill and the following day I was feeble and useless. My husband who ate a different cut of beef and pudding was ok.Thank you for your visit in our restaurant. I'm happy to see you had a good welcome. But i just want to precise something. You explain you spent à bad night after your diner, but you can't say it's our fault. You could be ill by a virus or another food you ate in the same day. We are very strict on hygiene et we are working with a private laboratotory.Il hope to see you soon.Best regards

Arrived in village, very hungry, as the original planned restaurant was shut. It was nearly 8pm. Drove past this restaurant which was empty, not a good sign. Went in to check they were serving and accept dogs who travel everywhere with us. Waiter was very helpful and pleasant. Menu interesting but with the lack of clientele we chose to take the safest option, of grilled chicken and duck. Must say the meat was well cooked, the haricot vert a little over cooked. Place has little ambiance, mainly due to lack of customers. A couple did arrive later and ordered coffee and dessert on the terrace. Was disappointed to note waiter preparing dessert in microwave! Oh dear. This place could better itself by turning down the music and having a visit from Gordon Ramsey. All in all we weren't too disappointed but somehow understand why there was no one else there.

This place is ok. I ate here a couple times during my stay in Bordeaux. Their wine by the glass was just fine. I also had a cheese plate and they brought some bread with it. That was very nice. I also had a couple cups of coffee and an apple tart.I would exercise caution however as I had my phone stolen at the restaurant next to this restaurant and the same thieves are probably working both. They were very brazen, stealing it right off the table as I was sitting there. Again that was the restaurant next door, but I'm sure the scoundrels work both sides.

Arrived at lunchtime on our bikes, in the rain, and, unusually for France got a really friendly welcome even though the restaurant was quite full. The decor is interesting...all based on wine...and the oysters and Tapas plates hit the spot! Unpretentious and good value.

Went here for lunch, then returned a week later for dinner. Both times, we ordered the market menu, which was both very good and good value. Carpaccio came with a mixed salad, along with a surprising (and delicious) tomato sorbet. Very tender duck with cepes and a nice souris d'agneau. Service was pleasant, as is the garden. This is the type of honest restaurant one hopes to find but usually can't.
