At the first sight, it looks like a normal âbrasserieâ, but once inside, and after a closer look, you will discover that it is far more sophisticated. You will get here mainly French cuisine based dishes (some of them based on local specialties). The dishes are just delicious. I had a tuna terrine and âspaetzleâ with rabbit, accompanied by a biological Riesling.Decoration is neat, with some funny quotes. Staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is situated in the historic centre and allows for a view on the fortress.

A little off the main strip, literally at the end of an alley, this place is the bee's knees! Traditional french cooking in a cosy, stylish atmosphere. Perhaps a little tight for space and the tables annoyingly small, but the service is friendly.

The receptionist to the hotel suggest us this restaurant that is in the Center of Belfort .Nice restaurant I like as it is inside .The food is Franch food but well cocked .They do not have a lot of chooses but enough for me .They have meet and fish as well .We taste the fish and was great simple grill without cream that normally French put on it .I can not give 5 star because the service for me was bad, I think the need at least 2 waiter .Only one is not enough and more over the waiters was not nice with the customer she do not smile and she do not serve the customer in the proper way

Great wine list, especially for Alsace and Jura regions, by the bottle, by the carafe, and by the glass. The glass of vin jaunt for the apéritif was excellent. Try the regional specialities. My dinner was very good. Diners were a mix of French and foreigners. The head guy spent time in Florida so English is easy.Thank you for your compliments...Yes I like wines, and i have a great wine menu!!!Laurent, works few years in Florida and he speak english very well, it is very important.See you soon...

I was at the Rond de Serviette for lunch and found the food very good. The cuisine is regional and high quality. Wine is very good as well.Meat and poultry are the best choice.Service is ordinary but quite professional.

We had 3 pizzas as this place was recommended by the shop owner around the corner (if you want to look like Desigual but pay only 50 % max, go there) for excellent woodfire baked pizzas. They were - both fire and excellent. Thin crunchy crust, nicely spiced, the egg on the tuna pizza went very well.Very reasonably priced wines as well. When we were there we noticed that almost all diners were having desert. So we did as well. Highly recommended is the home made tiramisu. Along the style of a Paris bistro a place that serves excellent traditional French cuisine in a intimate and cosy atmosphere. Add to that good service and pretty reasonable prices and this is one of my favorite restaurants in Belfort!

Location : right in the old city of belfort. Parking : easy for free in the evening, and rather close to the restaurant. Customers and owners (young, beards, tattoos...), general atmosphere : decoration (not just kind of vintage) and the ambient music played over there... and even the fact that they are aiming to only have organic food.... first word to come in our mind : hipster. 100%. Hosts : not super friendly, far to be unpleasant... let's say averagely pleasant (well, I have to say that I know that I certainly did not like friendly or even pleasant this evening, so... but well, I am the customer. (Here I am doing the comparison with (/thinking about) the last restaurant we did visit, Vielharmony in Emmendingen, Germany, where the hosts were superfriendlly) But, afterwards, thinking about the hosts behavior, clearly feeling a distance between us and them... it does also sound hipster for me. (personnal point of view)About the menu : I've read several times that especially for the beverages we need to ask the owner/waiter (I don't remember) for advice. Well, we did not need advice for sparkling water, so I can't say anything about the drinks. I just did notice the apparently original choices of teas, and also large choices of beers.Menu are written on some very classic comics for kids very well know in France : Martine. Original. About the choices : rather poor (which is not a bad thing), mainly 'Tartines' : slice of bread stuffed with everything you can imagine, names of the tartine sounds like old fashionned names, fitting with the spirit of the ... let's rather say the decoration. We tasted two of those Tartines. I think it was Chantal and Paulette. Nevermind the names. I did also ask for a salad. Well done. Very good fresh salad. No wow effect for sure, but well done. They insist to say that they use healthy products and I have to say that it's a very good point. It's clearly specified that they are aiming to have soon only organic food. Which does not mean that the taste is wonderful. At least when we eat such food we can think that we are promoting a healty concept. And that we are supposed to not get poisonned by such food. (not as for the standart food)True that, if we have to choose between two restaurants, we would rather choose the one with organic food.Tartines were huge. And for an evening I have to say that we did a wrong choice (well, depending on what you'll do after the dinner, but for us it was bed before 1 am). We only did eat half of them, despite they were good. Cheesecake as a desert : good, also well done, also no wow effect. It is not a gastronomic restaurant. In my opinion it is just a place runned by hipsters, giving the choice of healthy food, cooked in a simple way, in a nicely original place. (so vintage)I would even say that, if somebody ask to me if there is a Cook in this restaurant, i would say : No. And that's not a negative point in my mind. It does look like a perfect hipster fast food. And the owners are doing it very well, close to perfection. I could even give 5 stars instead of 4, because such a place, indeed, does not need to have super tasty meals. Unfortunately, here is my opinion, and an opinion is always sbujective, and the fact is that it's far to be my favorite restaurant.Afterwards, again, there was a little something wrong. I did not feel at the right place. Even if it looks widely open to everybody, I didn't feel like the good customer for such a place. I mean : it's like to have a bar, known to be a gay bar, even widely openned to everydbody you may not feel at the right place if you're not gay. Again, it's just a personnal, very subjective opinion. Oh, and very last point, another good one : the price is fair. We paid less than 30 euros for 2 Tartines, Bottle of water (half), one dessert for two and coffees. Which is... i wouldn't say cheap, but fair.

Excellent kitchen. The restaurant is a little small but therefor very cosy. The menu consists out of dedicated meals that are absolutely very tasty. In this restaurant you can really sit down and enjoy the food for the whole evening. Great wines available as well.Je vous remercie pour votre commentaire, et suis ravi que cela vous ait plu.Au plaisir de vous revoir prochainement.
