An unexpected surprise to visit this delightful restaurant located in a little harbour with small boats. The ambiance was very inviting. The staff very friendly and helpful. The polder soup - mustard with smoked eel was very tasty. The hamburger was very good served with finger fries and home made mayonaise. The restaurant on the first floor had a large terrace overlooking the polder landscape with the spires of the churches of Eemnes and Spakenburg visible in the distance, not forgetting the pleasure boats moored in the small waterway leading to the Gooie lake. The menu is limited but there is plenty to choose from. A place definitely worth a visit on a sunny day by car or a bike ride in the area.

Excellent Restaurant
When in Amersfoort and when the opportunity arises: go here! Enjoy wonderful food. Prepared by passionate cooks and presented by passionate people. Everything is the way it is supposed to be. Definitely worth the trip and your trouble to go there and enjoy a wonderful meal. The staff is very friendly and helpful and polite. You will enjoy a great evening out. Enjoy the wine and the chef specials. Do make a reservation. Also for that special moment appropriate.

We were genuinely welcomed into the restaurant and got seated next to their wine cabinet. The restaurant looked really impressive and very fancy. As we did some shopping before going to the restaurant, we put the stuff beside our seats. the waitress then had to pick a wine from the cabinet and clearly got frustrated as it was difficult for her to reach due to our stuff. She impolitely asked us to either put the stuff away or hand it in to her as she was be able to store it elsewhere. The dinner was not even started and we already got a negative image of their service. Perhaps it was due to our groupon voucher? as it provides us a 6 - course dinner against a reasonable price. Tip: do not put a table right next to the wine cabinetanyways.. To start of with our appetizer, it was a little bland. However, the main courses were of small size but yet, very divine. For the dessert, we requested to substitute the cheese platter to another dessert as we are not a huge fan of cheese. We then got a dessert which looked a little uninspired but the flavors were there. Overall, service could have been better and food was okay although it did not get that "wow" factor in my opinion. I was underwhelmed as a had high expectations due to the fact that this restaurant received 15 gault millau points.
What I have to say is not much, nothing actually. At least when it relates to Zuyver and possible negatives. Positives, yes. Many actually. Nice staff, proper service, great food a sort of all you can eat but with one distinctive difference. The different platters are served for two persons instead of one, adding a shared experience to the equation of a food adventure. As Arnold Zwarzenecker once said "I'll be baack'

Old friends who live here took us to enjoy an evening meal. I had herring as a starter and halibut to follow. Both were delicious. We drank house white wine - the Sauvignon Blanc was excellent. Two courses each â¬217 including tip.

We had a pleasant lunch with various salads, butter baked flounder done the Dutch way to perfection (2 slip tongetjes) and coquette balls ( 8 bitterballen) with Dutch mustard. We had several baguettes with various cheeses, the bread was double baked. Our server was helpful and pleasant and went out of his way to make us comfortable, excellent English was spoken by all the staff at the restaurant. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and the quantity of the delicious bar type food served. Thank you for a wonderful luncheon.Wow, Thank you very much for the beautifull words! We'll hope to see you soon.Greetings Tom & Manon

We had dinner in 'het Plukje' based on the reviews here. To be honest we had high expectations but we're slightly disappointed. There is no flexibility regarding kids. You can order standard French fries with sausage but if you want to order something healthy it is not really possible. You can select a standard dish from the menu. We were first in the restaurant but it lasted very long before we were being served. The food is good 'BRASSERIE' level but the pictures I saw here did not appear on my plate.

This restaurant offers really honest cooking; for me it means that they use fresh ingredients and prepare the plates upon ordering. Thus no warming up of pre-prepped food, no semi finished dishes from wholesalers but a cook that prepares the plate on the spot. And the plate is good; fresh vegetables cooked to perfection, tender meat and good side dishes. The atmosphere is cosy and the service good. The prices are good for the quality they serve, which means that it is a little bit above average.A place to remember and worth to drive the extra mile so to say.

No English menu but a really nice and friendly staff to translate. The food looks great and taste good. They also have a free WiFi.When the weather is good you can start with a nice drink outside and enjoy the nature view. The prices are a bit high but for a nice business dinner this is a good choice in the area.
