We arrived the week-end all the Riviera chefs were working in Auron. Managed to secure a reservation with La Brasserie and enjoyed a great meal. Menu was set but the service was polished and efficient, especially given they were trying to fit in almost twice the regular number of seats. And given the quality of the food the price was spectacular value

We have been going to this place for 10 years and it is a family favorite. The pizza is great and the service also. Lunch on the terrace is perfect. You can take out also. We will be back.

This is probably the best restaurant on the slopes in Auron but competition is poor of course.Food is ok, service is ok, prices are a bit high. But this is a real restaurant with a real staff, not a self service like most of the other places on the slopes.

Sauma-Longue is the highest restaurant among the slopes in the ski resort Auron, in the south of France. The perfect place if you want to enjoy good meals and beautiful view points.
Must be one of the highest restaurants I have been to in a long time. Just had coffee and want to go back for the oysters and white wine. Looks like pure bliss. Definitely on the list for next season.

Having had a good family meal in 2011 we returned to this restraunt twice in February 2013. On both occassions the meal was outstanding. The cuisine is basically French but with an Alpine flavour. The menu changes daily depending upon availability of the raw matierials.Children's menus are also available. From the outside the Galion looks like a bar, the restraunt area is behind the bar and is nicely decorated in modern Alpine style. The service is friendly and the manager speaks good English. Like most French restaurants things do not get going until about 8pm.Not cheap but food of this quality never is.

Just had the salmon fondue tonight. The mix of bay, fennel, garlic and onion in a fantastic wine base. Outstanding. And had the incredible lunch there last Saturday. Best food ever. The veal chop was succulent. And they were hosting the movie crew tonight. Quality of service? Good as ever. 5*You cannot miss this experience.
