We were here with a large conference group, but the space felt intimate and welcoming. Magnificent local cured meats, pork roasted at the fireplace in front of you, a pleasant courtyard to stretch between courses, and efficient, graceful service. It was a fixed menu, obviously, but everything was delicious. A trio of musicians sang in French and Corsican. The space is rustic but tastefully done, and in a crowded room, conversation was still easy. For Corsican cuisine in a quiet village up from the bustle of Ajaccio and the sometimes tacky shores below, A Casetta is a find.

We've just returned to our hotel room (less than 10 minutes walk) after an excellent meal. The food was all freshly prepared and delicious, the prices reasonable, and the service impeccable. The only fault was that the food was served on cold plates, and so got cold too quickly for our liking. We hope to return before we leave this beautiful part of the world.

We had an excellent dinner at this highly-locally-rated restaurant. No view, comfortable setting, nothing overwhelming, but in a way that is good because the resources are focused on food freshness, impeccable cooking, warm welcome. We had a great fish soup, and grilled fish of the day. Good desserts. The wine list was reasonably priced. The place was full even on a weekday offseason (that tells you!). I highly recommend this place for seafood lovers. There is meat as well, but we did not order it

I'm having dinner right now with my wife. I could not hold back from writing this review immediately so that all the essence of our visit remain intact. The flavours, the wines, the service everything is exemplary. Highly recommend if you find yourself in this fantastically beautiful part of Corsica.
Where to eat Italian food in Eysines: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Often the best restaurants thrive through simplicity of menu choice, enabling them to excel in what they serve. U Fornu is one such place. Laid back on the top of the village with incredible sunsets over the valley below, the location would alone be enough. However, the young men who run this simple restaurant have not stopped there. Divine thin crust traditional pizza bases are adorned with all manner of delicious local produce to create sublime pizzas for all. A small but very good selection of wines and a very reasonable bill rounded off a great evening for our extended family. Thus could quickly become a favourite.

Food and wine are really good, really tasty. You should also try their desserts. I celebrated my birthday here with my family and the chef made a wonderful, personalised cake for me. The restaurant is really small, with only a few tables and a gorgeous view of the sunset. Very romantic. Highly recommend it.
