A great restaurant in the middle of the oyster area. This is popular with locals and visitors and worth booking in advance although they were happy to erect more tables outside. The service is efficient and friendly despite being so full. They sell just fish, and all the better for it. Very fresh and well cooked but in a simple style. With fish thus good you don't need any fancy kitchen tricks. The freshness speaks for itself. Beautifully prepared and cooked. Best ever.Don't miss this one

Lovely place in a central location in Andenos next to the seaside, we visited the restaurant with my family following the advice of the family we were renting the holiday apartment from and we were sure we would be very satisfied. The service was impeccable, good choice from the menu a la carte and the daily special. My wife and I both went for the 25⬠menu formula with an entrée, main course and dessert. I tried the salad with foie gras and ham, the entrecôte with pepper sauce and homemade fries, panna cotta for dessert, my wife opted for the fish option, also ending with a panna cotta. I drank a glass of Bordeaux red wine. Our son got a child menu with ham and homemade free. We all enjoyed the quality of the food, extremely well presented and prepared, and the nice atmosphere of the place, also very happy with the service by the owner and his son (I guess). The bill was very fair, less than 60 euros Very recommended place, we surely would visit again when we are in the area.

Great location overlooking the sea, the tapas menu looked reasonable. We arrived rather late and worked through most of what was on offer, snacky bits and pieces, all acceptable, nothing amazing, but nothing awful. Service from the waitress was outstanding, she was very friendly and helpful.

Perfect place to get great sea food at reasonable prices and a view to die for! The oysters were superb and the portion sizes just right to enjoy the full 3 courses, which were all delicious! The sunset made it a memorable experience and highly recommended.

My husband booked a table here for my birthday on Valentine's Day. The place was busy but the service and food was excellent. Top marks for presentation and taste, I couldn't complain about anything until I needed the toilet. The toilet was clean but the smell of drains hit you as you went behind the bar to the toilet area. The following month it was my husband's birthday and he booked another table. Again the food, presentation and service was the same quality and, unfortunately, the smell was still there! That won't stop us from going back.

This wonderful little unassuming restaurant is located in a residential neighborhood. We were seated on the terrace and even on a friday eve, it was rare that a car drove by... Very relaxing. It appears that a lovely couple run the place. She cooks and he does the rest. It should be a lesson in efficiency for the other local restaurants...superb food and service can go hand in hand ... And with only 2 people!!! We had the oysters, fish soup and grilled shrimp and each was better than the last. Simple food, expertly prepared and served with a smile. Great little place and we will be back.

We chose this restaurant based on the reviews. Full marks for vista and quality of food, but very limited. 2 types of prawn off the menu - no sparkling water. We wrongly assumed all the cabanas would be similar but no. Very friendly staff.

Top reveiws brought us th this seafood tasting restaurant and after being shown to a lovely table overlooking the harbour we ordered some oysters, prawns and some of the homemade paté along with a carafe of dry white wine. beautifully presented with bread this was a seafood lovers dream. Not expensive and well worth a visit.

We went for lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Great setting, very simple menu, excellent service and excellent food. Choose from fresh oysters, pork pate, big juicy prawns, tasty whelks or winkles, or order a plate of each and share. Served with bread and mayonnaise. No cooking involved, just lovely fresh seafood. The restaurant did get busy even though it was out of season and mid-week, so I recommend you aim to get there at 12 noon. The owner is an oyster farmer and sells them at local markets. You can also book to go out on his boat to see him at work - something we plan to do next time.

Went here for lunch, then returned a week later for dinner. Both times, we ordered the market menu, which was both very good and good value. Carpaccio came with a mixed salad, along with a surprising (and delicious) tomato sorbet. Very tender duck with cepes and a nice souris d'agneau. Service was pleasant, as is the garden. This is the type of honest restaurant one hopes to find but usually can't.
