My first visit to this place was just this summer and I'm sad that I didn't discover it sooner! It was an easy peaceful walk and I will definitely be back again.

Beautiful, secluded and well groomed walking trails in the middle of the city. Best time to visit is early fall when then leaves are just starting to change. Very peaceful with the sound if running water throughout.

I went to visit the library last year to look for a book in order to analyze for my thesis paper back in high school. The book is very old and I could not find it anywhere else except for Cape Breton Regional Library. The staffs were welcoming and they greeted me very well. They asked for the name of the book and quickly after that they handed me the book. Also you do not need to pay for anything when you come and borrow the resources. They have a huge amount of resources from the books on display to the books that they kept in the back of the house. They also have 5 to 6 computers that everyone can access to if you do not have a personal one at home. You are welcome to use the computer there. When you sign to borrow a book, they will give the date that you have to return it usually it is about 2 or 3 weeks. The staff will make a phone call with you to remind about returning the book 1 or 2 days before the returning date. You can also ask to prolong the return date through that phone call without having to come to the place. They will normally except to do so unless there is another person borrow it beforehand. Additionally, there is free wifi and a large working space which is very quiet and comfortable for people to read or use their computer to work. The decoration of the library is extremely nice, vintage style and cozy. I really enjoy my visit and I always want to visit it again.

Making Greatness in Unexpected Places. Sydney's first Craft Brewery offering four flagship beers: Black Angus IPA, Red Coat Irish Red Ale, Sons of Hector Brown Ale, Sterling Hefeweizen, and a rotational seasonal beer. Enjoy a taste of Cape Breton, local music, and brewery tours.
They have great beer and a friendly setup. The inside of building has great swag! Can't wait to come back with my buddies!

This Sydney Merchant Mariners Memorial is not jost an impressive monument but also a very important one. The monument tells the heroic story of the sailors on merchant ships carrying equipment and supplies to the Allied forces in Europe during WWII.
