In the centre of Stresa you'll find in this shop a lot of furniture especially from the 19th century; old items coming from our past everyday life and rare pieces of collection like coffee grinders, lamps, wood boxes, keys. Paolo, the owner, will help you to discover these courious items telling you their history. He search, collect and restored himself all the pieces of his antique shop. You will be welcome!.

In the shop you will also find gastronomic specialties such as extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegars from 3 to 40 years, special mustards, truffle products and much more. We organize tastings for groups or individuals.
This is a great wine and liquor store in Stresa. Reuben was very nice and accommodating. He gave our party of 4 an impromptu wine tasting. I must say he was rewarded as we purchased a lot of product including wine, balsamic, truffle butter, olive oil etc. Anyway, I highly recommend La Cambusa.

We walked from Baveno to Stressa & it was stunning. Beautiful manicured gardens all along the lakeside & nice little places to have a coffee or a drink or two. Magnificent views of the Lake & the beautiful old Hotels that line it.

The terrace on the 7th floor of Hotel La Palma houses Sky Bar, a unique location in the area, listed among the best rooftop bars in the world (Vogue and Rooftop Guide). Here the lift opens the doors to a priceless view of Lake Maggiore and introduces you to a special place, where you can spend a few hours chatting, listening to good music and enjoying signature cocktails. You will find a charming Sky Pool, comfortable sofas, design lamps and a large gazebo to enjoy a drink in the open air. Sky Bar is also open to non-residents of the Hotel, seasonally (May-October) every day from 12:30 to 00:30. Access may be denied in case of large attendance or private events and in case of bad weather. Table reservations can be made for a minimum of 6 people. Table bookings are allowed by a minimum of 6 persons.
This is simply a great bar. Someone said it is among the top 10 rated rooftop bars. I believe it. The atmosphere, view, service and drinks are all top rate. it is not cheap, but then again you get what you pay for. This is the only place I went in Italy that understood how to serve a double Tanqueray on the rocks. But the craft cocktails that others ordered were prepared very well. If ever in Stresa you must come here for at least one drink.

This is a beautiful, very scenic walk through woodland near Stresa. It's a lovely walk, six miles in total end to end. We did it on a hot day, so the tree cover was very welcome. The walk is quite challenging at times, not suitable for very small children unless you can carry them! The walk in ambiguous in places, make sure you take a map and have a fully charged mobile phone. Make sure you take food and drinks with you, as there are not many cafes or restaurants on the way, until you reach the end of the walk. At the end, we grabbed a very welcome drink by the lake, and then hopped on a bus back to Stresa. Would highly recommend this walk.
