A short 10-15 mins walk from Ozias along narrow rocky paths and you will be rewarded with an amazing scenic view of the turquoise sea and Tripitos. Either on the rock platform above or on the top of the actual arch this is the perfect place either at sunrise or for sunset drinks. I highly recommend a trip here.

George is the sweetest, most thoughtful artist who has created in 2 days the most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen. He put his heart and creativity into capturing the sea in my ring. I am truly grateful and lucky to have met George and cannot recommend his beautiful shop enough.

Used a Bleasdale map to do this short about 2K, steep walk to the beack. Worth every scratch incurred on hacking back brambles with Leki poles. Need good trainers. A wonderful beach for geology, but not for swimming.

The beach is about 7kms north of Gaios and located after the village of Kontogiannatika, between Logos and Gaios. You can access the beach by driving down the dirt track from the main road – when you reach the only house at the bottom follow the (easy) path/steps down the right hand side of the house to the beach. You will be rewarded with a stunning beach which is really secluded. Rarely populated and offers clear, calm waters which are perfect for swimming (with the odd nudist towards the southern end). It is a long semi-circular bay, with some rock formations on the beach, no facilities and surrounded by lush vegetation and olive trees. Unfortunately our peace was shattered when we were there by a catamaran chartered by Italians playing loud music with its passengers shouting and screaming at each other. At least the Brits weren’t responsible !

Monodendri beach has it all, parking at either of the restaurants at the beach, sun loungers (free if you are having lunch at the restaurant), free paddle boards dotted along the beach for anyone to use, a beautiful pebble beach and wonderful swimming and snorkeling.

My favourite place on the island. Beautiful bay which is also home to my favourite bar/restaurant - Carnayo Gold - where Dimitri rules! He's the perfect host. See my separate review of his taverna. Mongonissi has a man-made (apparently) fine sand beach - very narrow but enough to lie out on in the sun. There is also another bigger taverna above the beach. Many yachts use Mongonissi as their safe mooring for the night so it can get quite crowded in season.
