We popped in on the way from Skagen to Aarhus. Wow what a spectacular landscape. And! Given the US connection to the National Park... It shines more than many others in Denmark where many such places have little to none signage and infrastructure for visitors. Caught some garbage on the ground. Might want to up the emptying of these...

If you live for and love nature then this is for you This is a unique experience because of the two bodies of water meeting and I was totally mesmerized by watching the waves collide from their each direction. We head sending weather, which helps but we would have gone in any weather. While we were there the seal were playing in the water and that made it be also intriguing to watch their heads bob up and down in the surf. Finally from grenen we walked west to the most northern point in Denmark along the coast and then further to "gammel Skagen" to the sunset point to see the sun go down. We really enjoyed the grenen, the nature and the walk to the sunset.

Last time we visited the light house was some twenty years ago. Then it looked like now. Except for the comfortable path that goes almost all the way. Cant wait to vist again in twenty years time. Admission is free, I think 10 DKK would guarantee towers survival when next move is necessary. Great view and outing.

Huge sandy beach surrounded by sea and sand dunes. Brilliant for walking, running and biking (some drive cars at 20 km/t).

Sunday outing. Parked at harbor and along the walk to town, came across this gem. The ceiling decoration remainds me so much of Aarhus Cathedral. Some fine details like the silver ???? bird is so seren.

This was an old mine, now closed, turned into a beautiful lagoon. The name says the blue lagoon which has a round the lagoon walking path of little more than 1 km. The views are amazing with also possibility to sit and do a little picnic. On the other side of the cliff is the sea. The coast line is beautiful for a walk too.

At this site there used to be a church. Today some gravestones are left and a memorial stone together with a fine view to Rubjerg Knude.
