There are a number of small galleries in the Eau Gallerie arts district but the 5th Avenue Gallery is by far the best in terms of the quality of the artists represented. Most of the other galleries feature only local artists and much of the work is rather amateurish and aimed at tourists.

Conveniently located in Melbourne, Florida, America's Antique Mall is home to a vast selection of unique antiques and collectibles. Our 35,000 s/f indoor space has 250 booths featuring fine antique furniture, home decor, kitchenware, art, jewelry, clothing and so much more... It's a treasure hunter's dream!
My husband and I have been avid “treasure hunters” for over 20 years, and have been to antique malls and shops all over the US. AAM is one of the cleanest and best organized that we have visited. There are so many amazing finds from all eras. Each vendor has a unique vibe/aesthetic, so there truly is something for everyone. We recently moved to the area, and we love the mall so much that we became vendors! They treat their vendors very well. From farmhouse, to boho, to retro and everything in between - you will find that perfect item for your home and lifestyle here!

Turtle walks are held in June and July.
We didn't have any plans for Thursday and found out about the sea turtle preservation society via TripAdvisor. We decided to stop and we are so pleased that we did. The clerk, Donna, was very enthusiastic about what the society does. She was so kind, and helpful. She told us about a turtle release that was happening that afternoon further south of Melbourne. She took the time to give us directions and show us exactly how to get to that beach section and park. We were able to find the spot and participate in the release of two turtles. It made our day. My husband and I could not have been happier. They also have great T-shirts and other gifts that of course pertain to turtles. They also provide an educational experience about turtles. It is well worth a stop.

Wonderful relaxing drive through to enjoy and educate yourselves on our migrating birds and other wildlife. Please keep your pets at home. There are many very large Alligators that would love to have a meal. Children need to keep voices down and be supervised by adults. This is not a playground. There are many professional nationwide photographers and artists that travel to enjoy our wetlands. Please respect their space and our wildlife too.

Nice Beach Near Melbourne Large, Clean Beach and plenty of Free Parking. Shaded Picnic area and tables are adequately distant so bring your lunch or mid day snack. Clean restrooms. Playground and food truck. A little over an hour drive from Orlando or St Augustine if you are visiting the area. Also, other nice beaches along that stretch from Merritt Island to Vero Beach. So take your pick and enjoy the day!

A stream bordered by a shady hammock abounding in palm trees and other tropical growth winds through the heart of the campus and is the setting for a 15-acre Botanical Garden. The main trail has been named the Dent Smith Trail in honor of the founder of the Palm Society, a worldwide organization primarily engaged in the study of the palm family, in all its aspects. Florida Tech's Garden, through the intense interest of Founding President Emeritus Jerome P. Keuper and the inspiration and help of Mr. Dent Smith in the 1960's, has become one of the most unique campus botanical gardens of its kind in the continental United States. This is a public garden. We have limited staff and love volunteers! There is no fee to visit (self-guided) and we are open from sunrise to sunset. If you would like a guided tour, docents are available with advance notice. A donation of your choosing is recommended for guided tours. As there are natural water features and other potential hazards, please exercise caution during your visit. There are several specimen, delicate or possibly poisonous plants planted or naturally occurring in this garden and hammock. Parents, please maintain appropriate control over your children at all times. Well-mannered dogs on leashes are welcome on the trails only. For your safety, please stay on the trails or within walled areas. Thank you!
A beautiful, serene garden with 15 acres of beautiful plants. There's a little turtle pond, a small schoolhouse from Melbourne's first one room school (I believe) and places to have a picnic or catch up with friends. A beautiful little gem in the middle of Melbourne.

Intracoastal Brewing Company is in the heart of Eau Gallie Art's District serving craft beer to Melbourne and the Space Coast area. We have a continuous rotating menu of hand-calculated original recipes. The tasting room has a coastal-industrial feel with warm staff welcoming you. Come in, have a flight, a pint, and take home a growler. Open 7 days a week
Fabulous local brewery. Walked in the door and was immediately helped by staff who oriented us to the options. Outdoor tables with no servers (you go to the bar and order) or indoor tables with service. Our waiter was so helpful in deciding which local brew would match our tastes (IPAs). We ordered 2 brew tastes and selected a Double IPA which was outstanding and best we have ever had. When we inquired about what goes into making a double IPA, our waiter sent the brewmaster to speak with us and he was very knowledgable and helpful to us as home brewers. We ordered mixed seafood ceviche which was the best we have had (just came from the Florida Keys where we had lots of ceviche). Also ordered the Peruvian Poutine and it was quite savory and filling. Outside patio was filled with lots of folks listening to the evening's entertainment. A must while in Melbourne, you will not be disappointed!
