Nestled among acres of lush wine grapes, Harmony Wynelands is an expansive property, surrounded by picturesque gardens and grounds. The most discerning guests will fall in love with our stunning venue, combining natural beauty and comfortable setting.
Had a wonderful overnight stay at Harmony Wynelands. Shaun and his mother were extremely hospital and made me feel very comfortable stopping there for the night with my trailer. The winery is lovely, beautiful grounds, pretty patio and amazing music room with organs. The story behind the music room is fantastic. They played some music that came from all over the music room/now also the tasting room. Then to top it off they have some amazing wines. This is a must stop if going anywhere near the area.

Lovely place for a picnic and watching the cranes come in at sunset. Bring binoculars. Check the season as they are mainly there in the winter. End of February is end of Crane season. Also, listen to the sound they make before you go so you can hear them. Rolling r sound call.

The Lodi Wine and Visitor Center is a great opportunity to introduce out of town guests to the myriad wineries in the Lodi region (and do a little wine tasting at the same time). Great customer service too.

At Harney Lane Winery, we believe great wine begins in the vineyard. After over 100 years of farming wine grapes, we ventured into winemaking in 2006. Using only the best quality fruit from our estate vineyards, we continue to vigilantly farm our land to create award-winning Lodi wines. From planting and tending the grapes every season, to harvest and crush, to bottling, our family handles winemaking with the same diligence we use in our vineyards. Fruit is handpicked, hand sorted, fermented in small lots and barrel aged in programs unique to each of our wines. Harney Lane’s portfolio features a diverse array of estate wines, and we are pleased to bring you a taste of what we’ve spent generations working toward. We invite you to raise your glass to our new tradition!
Great spot with nice wines and beautiful grounds. Andie was a fantastic Host. The price point on the wines were a good value.

What an outstanding winery! A little gem that has many delicious wines suitable for every palate. We had the fortune to meet with the winemaker and enjoy his personal favorites as well as to learn his style of winemaking! I would definitely recommend them over the big names who rush you through the entire process. Our favorite were the Viogner, Purple Squirrel, Lodi Native as well as the winemaker select! Do stop by and enjoy the great conversation with the friendly people at the vineyard, walk around and just take in the whole experience. Will absolutely come back.

Have always enjoyed Mettler Cab on the east coast so was excited to visit the winery. The reds are really good and won't break your wallet. Our wine hostess Terry was knowledgeable and lots of fun. Enjoyed the experience and joined the wine club -- nice benefits! Stop by for a visit.

In 1970, Tim and Barbara St. Amant Spencer purchased 43 acres in the Jackson Valley of Amador County and decided to plant Zinfandel. As Tim began to fall in love with Port wine, he contacted UC Davis to see what Portuguese varieties were available to plant in California. Those first Portuguese grapes ripened in the fall of 1981, and were sold to a now defunct winery named JW Morris. Shortly after harvest, Tim received a tip that the winery was going to file for bankruptcy, leaving us holding the bag. He quickly realized that selling wine bottle by bottle was preferable to going broke, and so he set out in his pickup truck to reclaim whatever wine was decent. Arriving at a nearly deserted warehouse Tim discovered 300 gallons of young port wine from our Amador County vineyard. He colorfully instructed the reluctant cellar worker to load that wine in his pickup, and thus, St. Amant Winery was born. That first wine, our 1981 Vintage Port, was a hit and still stands as a testament to all that is possible with these unique varieties in our vineyard. By the late 80's the white Zinfandel craze took off and we had several very profitable years selling grapes. This provided us the resources to open our own winery, where we could control every aspect of production from crushing to bottling. We opened our winery in 1990 in French Camp, CA. This was not wine country, and at a time when Americans were just getting comfortable with the French varietal wines, we were focused on Portuguese varieties, port-styled wines, and other obscure wines! 1996 marked a dark year in our history. Our vineyard was dying of phyloxera, and when you are a vertically integrated winery, growing your own grapes, and making your own wine, and your vineyard dies - you've got a problem. At this point, Tim worked out a deal with the Lodi Winegrape Commission - if a grower brought us 2 tons of grapes, we would make the wine, and give them 25 cases, and keep the balance for ourselves. We had numerous growers take us up on the offer, and then one day Jerry Fry showed up with 7 tons of beautiful Old Vine Zinfandel grapes. Tim didn't know what to do. We didn't have the money to pay for the grapes, and we had no idea how the wine would turn out. Jerry told Tim not to worry about it, that we would work it out later. We ended up bottling 450 cases of that first vintage. The Mohr-Fry Ranch Old Vine Zinfandel won a bunch of awards, sold out quickly, and to this day remains our most popular wine. Throughout the remainder of the 90's, we meticulously redeveloped our Amador County vineyard, and doubled down on Portuguese varieties. In 2004, at 66 years old, Tim was diagnosed with Lymphoma. After a hard-fought two year battle, Tim passed away 3 days before harvest. Tim's son, Stuart Spencer, took over as winemaker for St. Amant, and has continued to honor his father's legacy by making fine Portuguese wines. Barbara, Tim's wife, continues to manage the business, and ensure that Tim's legacy is always honored.
Off the beaten path and turn right after the guard shack. This unassuming industrial setting had the best wine of the day. Great talk and learned a lot about barrels and variety of products also.

We were only in Lodi for one day/night and wanted to have a nice lunch after a long drive. We were with a big group but only 6 of us were going so it worked out seating wise as there aren't that many tables even though the place looks really big. There is a wine tasting room in back which was nice - and they give you three samples while you wait for your table. The staff were very nice and the food was good (I had the chicken caprese sandwich and sweet potato fries - note, the fries are extra which I missed on the menu :-) It is located on what seems to be the only "cute" street in Lodi - definitely helped my impression of the town! Even had a horse and carriage taking tourists around.
