Ko Chang means “Elephant Island,” and indeed, if you’d like an up-close-and-personal encounter with the world’s largest land mammal, you can do that here—you can even swim with them at Ban Kwan Chang, an elephant preserve recommended by TripAdvisor travelers. In the past few years, the island has experienced a huge boom in tourism, so new hotels and restaurants abound.

I had been king tailor couple of time but i this time i can't visit to koh chang so i just mail mr.sony to make me some new suit and shirts. Within two week the clothes are here and most importantly all the clothes fit like the time i had bought in his shop. Thank you very very much for amazing service.

I am very satisfied with this tailor’s work and the whole making-a-suit process. He was very professional and what we agreed on was fulfilled in just a few days. The new suit and shirt fits me perfectly and are nice and comfortable. Thank you.

The Filou Cocktail Lounge is located just on the bustling main street in Kai Bae. Here, in the heart of Koh Chang, you can enjoy the tropical night completely relaxed with a cool cocktail or a draft beer. The prices are reasonable, the stylish ambience invites you to chill out - and the music inflames all guests to get into real party mood. Our 'Special Nights' are legendary - with fresh cocktails (every Cocktail 99 Bath, buckets (1 Ltr. 99 Baht) or Singha draft beer to real Happy Hour prices.
We went last Sunday for the 99 baht pizza and 99 baht bucket mojitos, the place was packed! The band was absolutely fabulous! The staff were very attentive and tried hard to find us a table, at first they sat us at a big table with another couple which was perfectly fine but then within minutes they showed us to another table of our own. They warned us that there would be a wait for the pizza because there were so many people and we said that's fine so I had finished almost 2 buckets by the time the pizza arrived and at that point it was delicious lol! It was a really great night and we will definitely go back, thanks Filou!

Khlong Prao Beach is peaceful, quiet and pretty in a rustic natural way. The tide brings the sea right up in the morning, and by evening it’s gone out a way enabling you to walk along the beach on the sand in the afternoon. It’s so peaceful here; even with some busy resorts, you still don’t have people swimming by you. Soft sand, shallow for ages so safe swimming. No tall buildings spoiling the look of nature. Great little local places to eat at the quieter end near Santhiya Tree resort. Walking further south there are more hotels, Emerald and Dewa get busier, but still not as crowded as other islands. More beach bars and places to eat as you pass these hotels. I’d thoroughly recommend this beach if you want a quiet peaceful time.

I loved walking around this temple and seeing all the statuary, esp the guardians on the four corners. It's across the street from a phenomenal fruit smoothie shop and is also part of a larger temple complex connected to the village.
