The ladies were very helpful and lovely to deal with. They helped with booking abseiling after I had trouble on the website and gave us some helpful information about National Park passes

We followed the road signage to the main carpark. Easy paved walkway to the lookout which provides amazing views of the coast. You can walk down to beach from here but we chose to exit and instead drive past the Red Bluff Caravan park where you can park near the beach and explore the red bluff Beach. Many rockpools with little crabs and fish around. Lovely place to explore and have a swim.

We visited this beach on a daily basis during our stay in Kalbarri. Multiple places to swim, fish or just sit on the grass and watch the boats. Shallow water over sandbar is ideal for fishing. Easy access from various carparks and multiple toilet blocks too. Lots of fish and small crabs around in the sand and shallow waters. Boat hire nearby with kayaks, power boats and paddle boats. Definitely visit the markets here when they pop up aswell!

Several view points along this stretch of coastal cliffs, one can enjoy a short amble of a few hundred metres or go for longer hikes along the top. Rock layering dating back some 400 million years creates some stunning views and photo opportunities. Also depending on time of year, whales can be spotted on their migration.

This is a protected fish sanctuary making it perfect for snorkeling. Low tide shows the rockpools and reef and seemed to be very popular with families and kids. High tide is still stunning snorkeling but be careful of strong currents that can carry a swimmer metres along the beach before they realise.

It is sometimes hard to impress teenagers but Port Alley Beach has it all. Sadly the weather made it a bleak day but it would not deter us. After posing for family photos at the top of the cliff my 14yo son made his was down to the the beach and we all followed. Simply stunning photo opportunities and the kids got to get out in nature and have a great time! The storm that came in from the ocean quickly caught us out and we all had to make a run for the caves which made it even more eventful and have given us stories that will last a lifetime. This is a little gem of a spot and we can't wait to get back there on a sunny day!!!

A short distance from Kalbarri and a few minutes walk from the carpark. Wheelchair and pushchair friendly. All of these lookouts are stunning with a variety of rock formations, whether the weather is dry or wet. This one has a rocky path down to the beach.

Detoured to Meanarra Hill Lookout on our way back to Kalbarri, sealed road to the peak and then some nice sealed paths to various lookout locations. Great panoramic views and nice shaded seating to sit a while and take time to enjoy the views and scenery. There is also a series of information panels about the landscape and the traditional Nanda owners. We didn't walk the malleefowl trail, too hot and too tired after a long day enjoying the National Park.

Walk past the lookout down to the river for a beautiful picnic spot, walk through the river bed, look out for birds and let the kids play with rocks in the stream
