The park is open everyday from 8 to 5.
Whenver we go up to Door County - whether to pick cherries or to relax on Washington Island - we almost always stop at Cave Point Park to get amazed at the way the lake pounds under the shore, creating these unique "caves" down below. It's hard to get tired watching the work of waves...

Winter Hours: Fri. & Sat. 11-4, or by appt. during the week. Face coverings required. New this year are laser-cut wooden puzzles with Door County images! Featuring carvings made from the reclaimed wood of the former Eagle Tower in Peninsula State Park. Woodcarvings and oil paintings by David Frykman, Door County nature photography by Heather and Lucas Frykman, stoneware pottery and sculpture by Steve Jorgensen.
Having collected Frykman Christmas figures, it is always fun to see his shop. There are many delightful figures and now there are special carving pieces with wood from the Eagle Tower - beautiful! And in addition, there are many beautiful photos and other art. Well worth the visit to this special gallery.

A third generation family owned and operated art gallery that opened in June, 1969, Edgewood Orchard Galleries represents over 150 artists from across North America and shows their original paintings, jewelry, sculptures, glass, furniture, wood and clay in a beautifully restored century-old barn and award-winning sculpture garden. Voted Door County's "Best Art Gallery" every year for the past decade. Open 10-5 daily, May through October.
Really enjoyed our visit(s) to Edgewood Orchard Galleries in Door County, South of Fish Creek. They really expanded their sculpture gardens and my favorite is still always the inside buildings where they added a balcony to a new gallery. So bright and such wonderful art of all types. Great jewelry! Got some treasures each visit as we had to come back the next day. This is really the “art museum” of Door County, where just looking is okay. And everyone is so friendly and helpful. Will come back next year for sure as it’s the highlight of our Door County traditions.

The Village of Egg Harbor is coming into its own as Door County’s most popular cruising destination. It offers the best deep-water sailing access on the Peninsula. In the last few years, the Village has built a new marina, expanded and improved the public beach, and renovated Harbor View Park. The marina lies in the heart of the village, within an easy walk of many restaurants and shops.
Such a fun place to kayak. Easy put in and take out. The shore line is scenic. There is also a pretty beach here with changing room and bathroom facilities. There are many choices to get a quick bite to eat.

This old barn is the perfect place to display pottery by exceptional artists... All at reasonable prices. Since there's work by multiple artists, there's a wide range of styles and creativity. You're sure to find a piece that grabs your attention. One word of caution... The parking area is small. If you're driving anything larger than a full size pickup, you might want to reconsider pulling in off the road.

They had an artist reception on a Thursday evening and it was well attended. Art was overpriced, but glassworks were unique and priced fairly. My wife bought some earrings and they were beautiful and classy. They also sell outdoor art which can be found at only a few places in Door County.

Quick detour off highway 47 leads you into a beautiful road with more than one tree bisecting the road. The overlook is right off the parking lot and breathtaking view of Lake Michigan. There are other longer paths that can be hiked too.
