The Vaults is a very unique experience unlike any other in Wiltshire. Set in the heart of Devizes this grade 2 listed building is full of character, ambience and atmosphere. This is the place to try if you like to experience new flavours and have your boundaries well and truly pushed by our helpful and knowledgeable staff. A bank of 5 cask ale handpumps greets you when you enter and with no fixed range, each time you visit you'll find something new. In addition to a large range of beers in bottle and can we have still and sparkling ciders, wine, spirits and soft drinks. And a monthly food menu offering quality local produce from Bushton Co. which ranges from bar snacks to full plates of lip smacking food!

A long ditch and bank, presumed to have been built between 778-825AD, is about 12 miles long and provides hikers with spectacular views of important British archaeology from the tops of Martinsell Hill, Knap Hill, The Tan Hill Way and many other sites of ancient hill forts.

The locks are both an amazing feat of engineering and beautiful, with the reservoirs housing all manner of wildlife. What made our experience best of all were the Canal and River Trust volunteers who helped us achieve the flight in near record time! Cheery and informative.. we had a great day. Thank you

Stunning views. Not wheelchair friendly and some steep drops through the woodland so with little ones you need to keep and extra eye. Definitely worth visiting!!

The Pelican Inn is a Traditional Coaching Inn right in the heart of Devizes Market Place serving a wide selection of Wadworth Real Ales, Ciders and Wines from around the World. In the Winter our open fires give off a warming glow and in the Summer our Beer Garden is the perfect Sun Trap. Our Menu offers a wide selection foods to Eat in or Take Away that will suit all tastes with regular Home Cooked Specials available. On Sundays we are the home of The Great British Roast! Served from 12pm to 4pm booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. At the foot of our Beer Garden we have three beautiful letting rooms available in our converted Stables that are all Fully En-suite with free WiFi, Flat Screen televisions and Hospitality Trays. (We are "Dog Friendly" in our Bar and Garden areas but not in our letting Rooms.)
Just brilliant ,home cooked food , ready to pick up during this lock down from a friendly face. Today is Sunday and beef was on the menu from the Pelican ! It was amazing , fresh veg locally sourced and the beef , wow , bow to the cow , so many slices of perfectly cook beef served with a home made gravy that could be a food group of its own. Masses of food , enough to have left overs as bubble and squeak the next morning (looking forward to that). It’s not the first time I have had food from this establishment and will definitely not be the last , great food , great value , great people

We were finding somewhere to turn around and came across this little gem! My 6 year old loved it as she's tiny and struggles with the bigger climbing equipment. My 2 year old thought it was brilliant!! The gates open inwards so little ones can't just push their way out so it's much safer. We didn't get much of a chance to see the rest but it looked good from where we were. I feel the gym equipment was too close to the little park as my 2 really wanted to play on it but it wasn't really suitable. All in all very pleased to have stumbled across this today! Wish we'd had a chance to get to the cafe as it looked good. Will definitely go back!
