Gallery of approximately 60 different local artists. Art is juried for quality and variety. A wonderful place to purchase unique gifts or for that spaecial place in your home.
It was a perfect place to see art and relax after lunch in Old Auburn. My 16 year old son really took the time to look at everything and explain the different types of techniques used by the artists that he has learned in art class.

I’ve lived in Auburn for 38 years and have always enjoyed their delicious apples, fruits, nuts and great pies. The Machado family has been around for many years. Their pies have become famous. The holidays find them with pie orders. They are delicious.

My daughter and I visited the museum. Based on internet information and/or signage, we had the impression this museum was closed due to Covid. We were walking by this beautiful stately building and decided to walk up to the doorway...it was open and we went inside. This is when we found out the museum was open. We had a wonderful visit. This was enhanced by the fact we got to go to a real indoor museum after over a year of doing everything outdoors. The docent at the museum was friendly, helpful and gave great suggestions about what to view in the building. We viewed all the exhibits and then went to the upper floors to view the beautiful hallways on the courtroom floors. The courtrooms were locked, so we could not see inside unfortunately. If you are in Placer County Old Town area, don't miss coming here. It will only take you about an hour, and you will learn a lot about local and California history.

This pleasant neighborhood has nice shops and fun antiques.
Absolutely love spending time here - wonderful restaurants and cute shops. Sad that Awful Annie's relocated to another spot in Auburn, but still great choices for food and drinks. Love the old charm and quaint streets.

Knee Deep is known for their IPAs and they have a bunch of good ones. There’s always 20+ beers on tap including some other styles. Their tap room is spacious with picnic style tables inside and also a smaller area outside. Food trucks rotate but one is almost always there.

Had wonderful time at the Moonraker yesterday in a private party during "Light Out in California"!!! We all enjoyed the generated electricity and mass variety of Beers available. Samplers and/or personal preference from previous visits were all available at a minimal cost. You gotta go there!!
