This activity offers a nice comfy excursion out of the busy city of Dalat to the countryside. The coffee shop which is part of this tour is quite nice to sit and drink a cup of coffee as it has some nice exposed view of the coffee farm. The falls are very nice. There are some walks down and up the elephant falls but it is worth it as you can get quite close to the waterfall and behind, underneath the fall! I also have to recommend it for the super nice guide, Tin Tin, humorous and knowledgable. I recommend it!

My son and I had a fabulous time on the cooking class. We were taught by Ai and Cindy and both were really friendly and informative. We started with the coffee tasting, then a trip around the market to buy our fruit etc and then off to the cooking class, where the food we cooked was fresh and delicious. Both the ladies were really friendly and helpful and are a real asset to the company. We would highly recommend this trip.

Old Quarter Nightlife : Other parts of Hanoi might quiet down at night but the Old Quarter is where night owls head to. Street food & drink vendors, ( Night market on Friday, Saterday, Sunday), live music, discos, clubs and bars as well as decent karaoke joints are the norm here.Though the numbers might be limited compared to other large Asian cities, what’s on offer here is well enough to keep people from all walks of life happy and university students, office staff and expats are among the friendly crowds.

We arranged a private night food tour for 2 people. Just three scooters (us and the photographer). The photographer took some great photos (leaving us to relax and enjoy the evening) and they were available about 24 hours later. It was an incredible and fascinating way not only to sample local food, experience local eating places but also to see the city. Being on scooter we could zip down small alleys as well as along the main roads. We went through many districts in the city and stopped several times to have some very tasty food. Sitting on the pavement on those very, very low stools and eating with the locals was great fun! At one place we could try our hand at creating our own rice paper rolls with a selection of meats and vegetables. The Extravaganza team were engaging, knowledgeable, professional and very safety aware. The whole evening, in fact, did not resemble a tour but was like spending a few hours having a good evening out with friends. Without hesitation, we recommend this experience as an essential part of any visit to Saigon.

Hoa’s Village was only 7 miles away but about 25 minutes by motorcycle and she encouraged me to meet her there. I booked my first grab motorcycle with a little bit of help from the hotel staff. With my green helmet and mask on, I claimed on board and off we went. I noticed Hoa right away at the market and she's definitely a professional and classy young independent woman. I already I like her a lot with her beautiful smile and welcoming words. She was raised in middle Vietnam, lived a third of her life in Ho Chi Minh and now has finished living a third of her life in Hanoi working. She is a facilitator for groups of travelers who travel to Hanoi and are engaged in programs. Smart and curious and definitely loving her country, she is the perfect guide for me today. I have paid for two hours but she encourages me to stay with her as we share cultures and visions and examples of how we live our lives which are parallel in many ways. She provides and insightful views of her village that are charming, informative through her lens and I treasure her for her generousity. At the close of a memorablel adventure, With several big hugs, I say goodbye to Hoa but I will never forget her.
