It has some of the world's best opera and theater houses and is often called an open-air museum, due to its many historic statues and monuments. Join families on promenade as the sun sets on the Bay of Naples. View finds from Pompeii and Herculaneum, destroyed by Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D., at the Museo Archeologico Nazionale or revel in the art and architecture of Museo Cappella Sansevero, built in the late 1500s.

Our guide Silvia was amazing! She took us to places we would not have come across on our own and gave us foods that did not include the typical pizza. She also pointed out great things for us to do and great places for food. She knew her material was very funny and kind. I would highly recommend her.

The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of Naples, in the Vomero Area. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities. Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible. Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Italian; other languages upon request.

I am so happy I booked this walking tour. Sandra is a wonderful story teller. She explained the history of the districts we visited, gave us the most amazing tastes of Napoli and told us the story of every thing as we walked around. We loved our time on this tour. We will be going back to many of the places Sandra introduced us to and we will most definitely be visiting the local attractions she recommended, that we would not otherwise have heard of. Can't wait to listen to the blues at Bourbon Street! We really recommend this tour. It is brilliant. Joe and Eleanor.

This walking food tour of Naples is designed to discover and taste a great variety of delicious food and wines that are known only to locals, and that are difficult to find if you don’t know where to look. There’s an old saying in this marvellous city that goes “you can’t truly understand Naples until you taste its food and wine”. Neapolitans are very proud of their culinary heritage and consider it a key aspect of their culture. We believe that they are right! Their friendliness and warmth, and the deep history of their city, are mirrored in the flavours and variety of their recipes, of their wines, of their gastronomic traditions. These are the reasons why we designed a real dive into Neapolitan flavours, including artisanal product, ancient receipts like colatura di alici, and much more, always combined with the best wine tastings coming from Vesuvius area (the reds) and from Benevento (the whites), and ending with a selection of Neapolitan pastries.

Inclusions: Professional local guide, Food tastings, Wine tastings, Bottled water, Alcoholic Beverages

We could try many specialities of naples and after that had a very full stomach. So we really recommend this tour.

Me and my partner had the most wonderful experience on our private secret food tour of Naples. Our guide Natalia was incredible. So knowledgeable and engaging! We felt like we had such a special tour of the city and learnt and saw things we never would have otherwise! The food was beautiful and there was so much of it. We visited 2 of the places on our own after Natalia sent us a detailed email about where we went and what we ate. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Naples - do it at the beginning of your trip! You won’t regret it :) Thank you Natalia and secret food tours X

Not only did our (amazing) guide take us hard to find places but he also told us fin stories, historical facts and showed us quite a bit of impressive street art. Book this tour NOW!
