If you love local life, history, and/or delicious food then this is a must tour for you! Gajendra, is a well seasoned tour guide, full of information not only about the food, but people, history, and culture as well. Getting to experience the Sikh temple and have Gajendra explain every aspect of what is going on really helped me to understand and appreciate the beauty of the scene. Come hungry ready to eat sweet and creamy yogurt dishes, flavor packed masalas with naan fresh out of the tandoori, and finishing it off again with sweet packed desserts.

I lived in Fort Kochi for a year from 2019 - 2020 and did yoga every morning with Joseph Sham. In the beginning I had a lot of health issues and was pretty inflexible but by the end I had advanced my practice so much that I actually did my 200 hour yoga teacher training with Joseph. Incredible really. His patience, understanding and supportive nature is what I love the most. He really took time to help me on my journey, not just physically but with mental and emotional challenges too. He has such a warm heart and caring nature and is now a friend for life. I really can’t recommend his yoga enough - perfect for literally any level; beginner to advanced. It’s also worth saying that his aerial/anti-gravity yoga is amazing. I couldn’t even sit on the swing in the beginning but slowly he encouraged me to give it a go, and now I can’t live without it.

Get set for Kolkata’s finest food tour. Greet your guide as the sun sets and take the subway up to the intellectual heart of the city. Here the Bengal revolutionary fighter Subhas Chandras Bose is more famous than Gandhi and the people are passionate about their rights and independence, not to mention their food.  The evening starts at a little street vendor that blends up one of the district's best tropical lasses. Afterwards, you'll hop from spot to spot tasting some fine Bengali fare - expect jumbo prawns covered in fragrant coconut milk curry, onion bahjis from a revolutionary food stand, succulent chicken curries and a range of Bengali sweets to name just a few. Finish at one of the oldest colonial coffee houses in Kolkata where nearby university students descend for intellectual discussions.

Inclusions: Taste 14+ different Bengali food and drinks, Small group tour limited to 8 exclusive guests, A private trained local foodie guide, Bottled water and refreshing Indian drinks, All transport costs including the metro, tram, bus and rickshaw

This was an amazing tour. Avid took us through the heart of Kolkata and to some local destinations and food outlets that no would be able to find on their own. The food was incredible, but the tour extended beyond this with Avik showing us what authentic local life is like in Kolkata both now and in the past. He also enhanced the tour through his sharing of local knowledge, customs, and culture. He even ensured we were sorted in our travel from the tour as we had a flight to catch soon after. I would highly recommend this tour. 10 stars!

Totally felt like I travelled back-in time and experienced “Bombay”- in all its past glory. Mohammad Ali road is one of the most important stops on your culinary sojourn in Mumbai. While the stories of vegetarian street food and the influence of the mill culture adorn the backyard of Girgaon, Mohammad Ali Road and Bohri Mohulla have created an insignia of non-vegetarian street food. Skewered Kebabs, spicy curries and colorful sweets dot these areas aplenty.
