The setting at aMaurice cellars makes me laugh when I compare this to my first winery experience in Napa and Sonoma in the 1970s. Back then, you would drive up to a barn, the actual winemakers would meet you in overalls and big rubber boots. Sitting down on some folding chairs at an upturned wine barrel, you would sip their offerings, figuring out what you liked until you drove to the next winery/barn down the road. aMaurice is located in a strip mall of wineries with bunches of people tasting wines outside each winery storefront during the pandemic. The servers would pour the latest offerings, providing very little information. At aMaurice, they’re hostesses rather than winemakers. aMaurice wines are good, if a bit too fruity for my palate. I still sense a difference between old world wines and new world wines. They may be the same grape varietal, but those European vines and that French, Italian, Spanish, Slovenian soil gives the juice a maturity I can taste. Fruit makes me pucker. Aged tannins make me smile. Whatever my palate, we enjoyed our chilly hour tasting wines at aMaurice. I bought a couple of bottles and off we went to our next commercial wine tasting storefront. It’s a new world all right.

Fidelitas is loyal to Bordeaux grape varieties; loyal to modern, small-lot winemaking; and true to the terroir of Red Mountain.
We visited this tasting room on Saturday afternoon at the suggestion of a nearby tasting room. It was quite full, but there was room for us to sit or stand at the bar. The person serving the wine was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the wines, the winery, and the growing area. We enjoyed all of their wines and bought a Red Mountain merlot. This is a good tasting room for people who like premium Washington wines.

Patterson wines are consistently wonderful, The port gets compliments every time we serve it at our home. The Warehouse tasting room and the Hollywood tasting room are equally great. Highly recommend

We feature estate grown wines from Red Mountain. Join us at our Woodinville, Washington Tasting Room located in the Warehouse District.
We have visited a ton of tasting rooms in Washington State and would rank this in the top 10% (high praise indeed)! Interesting ‘estate’ wines (meaning that they grow their own grapes which in unusual in this area). Their Red Mountain reds are definitely worth trying.

Located in Woodinville's warehouse wine district, Baer Winery is a family-owned and operated winery producing handcrafted red wine blends, and red and white single varietal wines that showcase the exceptional fruit from our select Columbia Valley vineyard partners. Come visit our tasting room to sample our wines, and tour the adjacent production facility.
I stopped in because this winery was recommended by a tasting room person at another winery, and I'm glad I came by! Tucked away in a corner of the warehouse district, this tasting room is very friendly and the wines are top flight! And very reasonably priced. This visit was part of a three-day wine spree and I came home with about 16 bottles from various places. The Baer Callisto blend was the first one I opened and it was every bit as good as I remembered. I can't wait to come back!

Small batch whiskey distillery. Tasting Room, Bottle Sales, and Complimentary Tours.
Good place for lunch if you are nearby. Not crowded so you can talk. Good food and good food options. Prepare to take an uber / lyft for the whiskey flight tastings. It's a casual counterpoint in wine country.

DeLille Cellars is open for carry out sales only. We are not offering tasting experiences at this time due to current state mandates. DeLille Cellars is considered a principal influence in establishing Washington State as a premier viticultural region and has a strong tradition of quality and excellence since its founding in 1992. A pioneer of Bordeaux-style blends in the state, DeLille Cellars focuses on the Red Mountain AVA and grape sourcing from Washington's leading Grand Cru vineyards. Today, the winery has a portfolio of over a dozen Bordeaux and Rhône style blends true to the terroir of Washington.
The wines are always exceptional. The new tasting room is gorgeous and the DeLille staff are passionate and very knowledgeable about their wines and wine in general. Such a pleasant way to spend an hour or two, with beautiful surroundings and lovely people.
