We take guests door-to-door from their resorts to select tasting rooms, with itineraries tailored to personal wine preferences. All tasting room fees, lunch, extra pours and extra glasses along the way are included – providing a more in-depth and “plentiful” tasting experience compared to larger drop-off group tours. Chateau Tumbleweed

Chateau Tumbleweed is a collaboration of four friends – two husband-and-wife teams – who, after working more than 30 combined years for other Arizona wineries, recently left their “day jobs” to focus on their own project. We have a great friendship, a penchant for absurdity and complementary skills in vineyard management, winemaking, sales and administration. We crafted our first wine – only three barrels – in 2011. After three vintages of making our wine at the Four-Eight Wineworks Winemaker’s Cooperative in Camp Verde (2012-2014), we took the plunge, purchased the building we’d been eying for the previous year and converted it into one of Clarkdale’s first commercial wineries and tasting rooms.

I saw CT online with the Verde Valley tour and it said worth a stop, so we did Our host LOU which we want to adopt, was the best. Let us do a VIP switch around on the tasting and even went back and brought out some from the back room... Was a fun time and great atmosphere. If u r in the area, please stop and enjoy. And yes, we purchased some reds! Our covid safe tasting kinda sucked, but it was what it was. At least the wine was good DaveB

Southwest Wine Center

Reviewed By aileen530 - Clarkdale, United States

Wow are we lucky to have the Southwest Wine Center at Yavapai College! Not only do they have award winning, yummy wines, the wine is made by the students and many made from the vineyard right there. There is a full 2 year program to learn all the basics about producing wine. They learn everything from planting the vineyard to harvesting to producing to working a tasting room. They have some exceptional wines, beautiful views of the vineyard, the mountains, red rocks of Sedona and a very comfortable tasting area. It's a bit of a unknown to many, even locals, so usually not crowded, at not yet that is. :)

My husband and I stopped in to Vino Zona while staying in Jerome. We REALLY enjoyed our hostess as she tailored our tastings to our taste. She also explained each wine she was pouring and was very knowledgeable about the grapes used. The bottles were a little more expensive than we had anticipated but we did think it was nice that the winemaker had signed them.

Page Springs Cellars

I visited Page Springs Cellars for a wine tasting and lunch. I sat at the outside bar, which had a view of the vineyards, and tried the Red Flight. I enjoyed the dry reds and the conversation I had with the server. For lunch, I had the curry chicken salad sandwich and a salad, which was delicious. Bonus was the fun music they were playing on the balcony--just loud enough to hear, but not too loud that people couldn't have conversations. As my title says, it was a lovely visit. I would recommend Page Springs Cellars to others!

While in Sedona we were curious about the talk of wine in the area. We started at Jerome and thought we would try it . We got there as they just opened and found out there was just a limited tasting. I had ask about a certain wine and the gentleman, that I hate that I can’t remember his name was nice enough to open a bottle and let us taste The wine is not cheap and u get what u pay for. Was a great start to our Verde Valley tour. Great job Maynard! DaveB

Alcantara Vineyards and Winery

Alcantara Vineyards is a dream venture created by Barbara and husband Bob to provide their family and partners the opportunity to live the dream of growing a vineyard community and winery. It was in cultivating the vineyards and embracing the land that Barbara and her family soon realized there was a bigger picture in this hidden treasure along the confluence of two rivers. You’ll find Alcantara Vineyards has over 13,000 vines and offers 12 different varietals. While you sip wine and enjoy our peaceful surroundings, which include vineyards, a grass picnic area, the Verde River and bald eagles flying overhead, you’ll find you are part of our community and family.
