Northern Sun Winery features Estate Grown Wines, an Upper Peninsula Vineyard and Winery! Northern Sun Winery is a destination on to itself. Our vineyard is nestled in the rolling hills of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, 15 miles from Lake Michigan, a few minutes from the Hannahville Island Resort & Casino and just outside the historic town of Escanaba. Savor our award winning wines in our Mediterranean Style cottage tasting room or under our vine covered pergola.
This should be added on the things to do for travelers in Escanaba. We had so much fun with the wine tasting and going around the vineyard. What a value $5 with free wine glass.

Downtown Marquette Farmers Market is open Saturdays late May to mid December at the Marquette Commons. Located in beautiful Downtown Marquette, along the multi-use path, in view of Lake Superior, the market provides direct grower/producer to consumer shopping for small farm, locally grown food. Also artisans, live music and programming through out the season create an inviting place to support local small businesses and meet up with family and friends.

Tried here based on the reviews. The owner and waitstaff are very friendly. I am not much of a sparkling beer/ale drinker and it took a few tastes before I found the one I liked. They actually have a couple of draft beers and one of those is what I liked! The history of the place is interesting. Nice place to sit and visit.

This was our first visit to Copper Harbor and we enjoyed it. My wife and I always enjoy sampling the local brews and were pleased to see there was a brewery there. The beers were excellent...the service (one guy, ladies were fine) was poor and the joint was basically, well, a joint...but come back to the beer: excellent. (The problem I had with the bartender I mentioned was on our first stop in there he was on his cell phone and spent about 5 minutes on it while we were standing there clearly wanting to order something.) It has ambience, I’ll give you that and there was some outside seating. I’ll go back if I’m in the area...but if you are looking for an up-scale brewery this is not it. (Nor do they proclaim to be.). Bottom line: Fun place, good beer.

Drawing from the Greatest of Lakes and crafting Belgian, American, and English style ales in downtown Marquette since 2012.
We live in town and enjoy the Ore Dock frequently. It is a really friendly place for locals and tourists alike. Stop in, sample some of their delicious brews. You won't be disappointed!

We had an opportunity to visit this UP North gem while on a trip to Marquette. Even with the new restrictions, it was a great place! Great outdoor area with an interior and exterior bar space. The beer selection was well executed, along with merchandise available. If you are in the UP and in need of a good time, please stop by.

Located on the Harbor in Manistique, MI. Sample exceptional wines and beers while enjoying wonderful water views and cool breezes.
We had a great time here. Definitely worth the stop. Laurie was an amazing host and the wines were great. They had a good variety and even had ciders and beer. Definitely worth the stop when in Manistique!
