When in Riverhead, take a tour with Brew Crew Cycles! It is the best way to pedal around the breweries of the East End of Long Island. The 14-person bikes make brewpub tours a group effort. During the 2-hour ride Brew Crew Cycles takes riders, as fast as they can pedal, to their next ice cold brew. This bike tour is a unique way to experience three local breweries.

We're a certified sustainable winery based on the North Fork of Long Island. We pride ourselves on creating high quality wines that pair well with unique experiences.
This was a favorite vineyard of the ones we visited on Long Island. The wines were great and the service was as well. If you go the dip that is made there is not to be missed, we would have bought it to go if they sold it!

Located in the rich grape-producing area of Long Island's North Fork, Palmer wines are sold all over the United States as well as Canada, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway and Holland.
Dear Ken, I want to thank you and Hannah for making the brunch after my daughter's wedding beautiful and so memorable. From the first time I spoke to you, you made me feel comfortable. When we arrived, all the food was set up including the tablecloths and beautiful sunflowers that you purchased for me. Hannah was a wonderful winetender and you both cleaned up and even wrapped the leftover food. You made everything effortless for me so I was able to relax and enjoy my guests. I would highly recommend anyone who wants a celebration with a beautiful vineyard setting to have it at Palmer's Vineyard. We are really glad we decided to choose you and your vineyard. Kudos!

First Growth is a term the French use to designate a top of the line producer or vineyard, especially in Bordeaux and Burgundy. Certainly that term applies to Paumanok Vineyards. Long Island has several excellent wineries, but this one still stands out. Several days ago my wife and I visited for the fifth time and, like each previous visit, enjoyed an excellent tasting room experience. We came in to pick up 18 bottles we had purchased last Autumn as "futures" after our second barrel tasting at Paumanok. It was conducted in their cellar by winemaker Kareem Massoud, son of owners Charles and Ursula. That was an extraordinary experience for anyone who loves fine wine, and we look forward to our third this November. I'll certainly review that in depth when the time comes. But the other day, every element of a winery experience was flawless. In rating any winery, I evaluate wine quality, expertise and friendliness of the staff, and ambience and/or beauty of the tasting facility. Paumanok earns A+ grades in every category. Macey, their warm and knowledgeable tasting room manager, led my wife and me through a focused but wide ranging tasting of current vintages. She explained each wine in as much depth as the customer desires. Detailed and technical enough to satisfy any connoisseur, or clear and accessible enough for any newcomer. And she does all this with an affable and welcoming personality. That's the sign of an excellent tasting coordinator. Thanks again, Macey. Across the board, the wines are superb. Crisp and complex whites perfect for summer, a textbook dry rose' wine, Blanc de Blanc sparkling wine the equal of any Champagne, and several profound reds from standout vintages such as 2010 and 2013. We bought eighteen additional bottles, besides the futures pick up, and we look forward to enjoying these and sharing them with friends and family while our newer reds mature further. This kind of excellence throughout a lineup is rare for any winery. These fine wines are a testament to winemaker Kareem and his exacting search for quality, but also their excellent vineyards, some of the North Fork's oldest and best situated. Paumanok is exquisitely beautiful. The large tasting room accommodates a good number of tasters comfortably and has several tables for a sit down tasting. But in good weather we always seek their gorgeous wrap around deck with lush views of their estate vineyard to the west and north of the winery. After our tasting, my wife enjoyed a glass of dry rose' and I a glass of Chenin Blanc Minimalist as we relaxed on this deck beside the vineyard. Guess what we planned...our next visit to Paumanok!
