We make gin the authentic way: we’re gin farmers. It’s dirty hands, hard work, full hearts, a deep love of the land and respect for our community. Our gins are crafted with nature: water from our spring, home-grown botanicals, fresh honey from our bees. We re-sow, replant, give back to nature. Real craft means graft. When it’s time to distil, we question, experiment and invent epic gins, including some never imagined before. We do it in small batches in our gorgeous bespoke copper stills, Curiosity and Satisfaction. So, raise a glass with us: to craft, to the land, to laughter and loved ones. In the end, those are the things that matter most.
The Curiosity Tour was brilliant from start to finish. We started with a complimentary drink, then the tour guide gave an overview of the distillery, the farms history before a walk into one of the farms fields, one of the botanical Gardens and then to the distillery, before then finishing off with a session on sample 5-6 different gins, whilst the guide talks you through the background of each one and how they were created etc. Tour lasted approx 1.5 hrs as is well worth the money - I’m pretty sure you get your money’s worth back in gin anyway, plus you get £5 off at the Tack shop and if you don’t fancy purchasing anything, there’s no pressure to as you get a miniature gin to take away if you choose not to spend the £5 voucher, so no one loses out. Fantastic day out, and the local pub, The Tollemache Arms is worth a visit afterwards too

Welcome to the Albion Brewery Bar, the most unusual new bar and venue in town. We are open from 12 everyday for fine ales, cider, lager, wines & spirits including Kingswell Gin distilled in the brewery. Our 8 hand pumps of cask ale feature Phipps, Hoggleys and a revolving guest ale. We have added an oak and glass partition between the bar and brewery so customers can view the brewing process as they drink and eat. Each day will bring a cabaret of mashing, sparging, racking and cleaning as Phipps staff go about their business of creating our beers. Almost all the bar's fittings are reclaimed with many coming from old closed Phipps pubs. Over the foyer there are new toilets including Disabled. We have kept the space true to its origins as a working brewhouse so you can drink ale with the smallest carbon footprint in the county but the biggest taste and the longest history. Hot food is available Wednesday to Sunday afternoon. There will be gigs and events as advertised.
Great stories unfold on this tour. I had been in the Pub as a customer before but did not realise that I had been actually walking on Northampton brewing history. If you like finding out about History and not just of brewing but of Northampton Town this is for you. Alaric one of the Directors did the tour and his passion and his enthusiasm simply shines out - from the beer that saved us in the second world war via Phipps claret colour and looking into a real King's well. I had to dash off after the tour but will return to try Stingo and Ratliffes stout.

My 2 sisters and I had a private cookery lesson with Anita - held in her own home it was a lovely informal learning environment - and Anita was full of interesting ideas and advice about all things connected with Indian cookery! We learnt how to make Naan (and an amazing way to cook it), 2 types of curry, some wonderful onion and spinach pakora, not to mention rice and potato cakes! Not only were we tasting the dishes as we made them we got to take them home with us! For anyone who loves cooking and wants to learn how to cook 'real' Indian dishes this is a great experience.

We are a small independent brewery and tap room with a large garden based in the old Towcester Mill which is set in the heart of Towcester in south Northamptonshire.
John was knowledgable and interesting to listen to. An interactive experience with opportunities to feel, taste and smell the ingredients used in the brewing process followed by 3 different beers to taste and sample with appropriate accompanying food. Only very small downside is that the carpark outside is pay and display for a maximum of two hours.

I have been twice for Sunday lunch and once for a midweek lunch and every time it was amazing - even though all homemade the portions are massive so excellent value for money. Also they did a fantastic buffet for a wake - again excellent value for money and could not of done more for us. Mother and Daughter run an excellent pub!
