June 27, 2021 Renato Branum

Travelers visit the port city of Marseille, the third largest city in France, for the meeting of style and history. The bay, flanked by Fort Saint-Nicolas, and Fort Saint-Jean shelters the Castle of If, from Count of Monte Cristo fame. Watched over by the basilica Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde, the city's pedestrian zones and shopping areas (including the colorful French-African quarter) mix with historical sites.Travelers looking for a fun time go to the OK Corral, a cowboy theme amusement park.

Marseille Culinary Backstreets Walks

We focus on a more traditional side of urban culinary life – the workings of simple family-run restaurants, the masters passing their craft on to an apprentice, the banter of regulars gathered around an open table, the rhythm of a life committed to meatballs and nothing else. For us, it’s never just about the best meatball in town; it’s always about all of the meatballs.

Terradou Provence

Daniele: I have been working with different winemakers in Europe. I'm graduated WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust). I love to discover new wine routes different from the usual ones. I believe in wine as emotion. Florie: I was born in a vineyard in Provence and love my region. I am now a history teacher, and I am doing a PhD on the history of the terroir of Marseille. I have an experience as guide and love to share histories of places.

Fada Food Tour

Discover the best dishes and drinks of Marseille and Provence with an approved guide. We start the visit near the district of Major then the "basket" and go to the old port. We enjoy local cakes, chocolate, bar stops, typical shops and restaurants. Have a glass of wine in the oldest cellar in Marseille with cheese and cold cuts. Enjoy 2 olive oil, take the "ferry boat" then stop on a terrace near the boats to share a real bouillabaisse and a glass of local beer or wine for those who are thirsty. The visit lasts 3 hours (1.5 km) for a maximum of 10 people. A deep experience.
