Nestled in the fertile Susquehanna Valley, Harrisburg has played a pivotal role in the shaping of American history, both as a major link in rail and water transportation and as the setting of major Civil War battles. Having bounced back from economic distress in the 1980s, the city is now a vibrant hub of family activities, from cruises along the Susquehanna to arcades and athletics on City Island. The annual Pennsylvania Farm Show is the largest indoor agriculture exposition in the U.S.

There wasn't an option for family - adults so I chose the friends option, but I took my dad here for Father's Day. We both had a blast! My first impression was that the music was a tad loud, but honestly, that's the only bad thing I have to say about this brewery. Other than that, I loved the atmosphere. The guys working there were attentive and very nice. And of course the main attraction: the beer. It was so good! They made flavors I never would have thought would make a good brew (like sour watermelon), but everything we tried was delicious. Their sample sizes are $2 each, which is pretty on par for most breweries. What impressed me the most, however, was that my dad got a free full pour for Father's Day. This place truly made our day, and I will definitely be back. Thank you so much, Zeroday, you guys are the best!

Headed to Ocean City with a quick stop in Hershey and found this fabulous establishment. Service was great we were seated immediately in a big airy dinning area with views of all the vats. There is also a lovely bar area. Our server Boyd was right there with great beer selections and recommendations. The beer is fabulous loved the Mountain lager ! The food is amazing! Great flavors and huge portions. My husband had the meatloaf and I had pierogies and brats. So good! Oh and the appetizer, poppers wrapped in bacon was wonderful! Although we didn’t go up, there is also a rooftop patio. This place is seriously a food destination!

When you pull up here, you think you are driving into someone's home driveway. You are. And the tasting room? His garage. It is. But keep going. It's a labyrinth underneath the house, through the caverns of wine making machines and equipment, until you spy a lone door... go through it. It's nothing fancy, kind of small, but there are two tasting bars... and herds of different wines to try. The vintner has ions of experience, and knows his craft, yet can be so darned entertaining with his stories as well. Several other small groups were there, all enjoying the experience in the "I'm inside someone's wood paneled basement" kind of tasting room, but you hardly even care once you start tasting the great and sometimes unique flavors. I had to try the pineapple wine - yuck - but unique. We then ended up choosing two nice sweet wines from a huge selection. And he had a vast selection in every wine category. Don't plan to rush through this one. The owner - an old hippie gone wine wild - lets you sample liberally as he explains the history and the process of each wine. Kind of like a mad scientist who's cool! Don't miss this stop. The funnest stop of the day.

Beers have always been awesome, but now that they have BBQ, chicken, burgers, etc, it is SO much better! Also, the staff is better than before - super friendly and superb service.
