Outstanding little cellar door at this winery. Customer service was the name of the game with Em and Ben being genuinely lovely people, they went out of their way to do anything and everything for us. Thanks for a great time!

Warramunda Estate is a destination for lovers of good wine which is elegant, distinctive and still very approachable. A family owned and run winery, Warramunda Estate crafts premium handmade wines that deeply express our site and each variety. Visit us at Cellar Door to taste the wine, enjoy a bite to eat and take in the incredible vistas of the Yarra Valley.
My daughter selected this vineyard for a relaxed Sunday afternoon late lunch. An easy drive from Melbourne and for us even easier coming from Wonga Park. Stunning entrance, long tree lined one way drive, ample parking and seating inside and outside within newly created zones. Our service was just so welcoming and we ordered a cheese platter and another larger alfresco style platter to share. The bread, cheeses, cold cuts and salad were of high quality and our crisp chilled Rosé from the estate was delightful. 10 out of 10 and yes we will be back for sure.

Everything we do comes from our home in Coldstream. Ideas are born here, the grapes are grown here, and our wines are crafted and shared here. As a family-owned vineyard and winery, we aim to create wines that reflect the heritage of our site, and the independent, creative energy of the Yarra Valley. Winemaker Tim Shand guides the path of fruit from more than 150 acres of estate-grown vineyards. We have planted several varieties over the past 27 years to best suit this site, including pinot gris, chardonnay, pinot noir, gamay, shiraz, merlot, cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon. These varieties shine in different ways across three distinctive expressions – Airlie Bank, Punt Road and our limited release ‘Block Series’ wines – with our full Punt Road range always available for tastings. Relax with a cheese platter, a glass or a full wine flight, chat with our team and experience why we spend every day here.
Great wines and friendly staff, it was a bonus they had tastings of my favourite cider (Napoleon) we really enjoyed our visit.

The Yarra Valley is well known for its wines, especially pinot noir. St Hubert's, which is named for the patron saint of rhe hunt, is at a higher altitude than most vineyards in the Valley, meaning its wines tend to be more delicate. St Huberts is well known for its old vine cabernet sauvignon, and roussanne, which origiates in France's Rhone Valley. Among the most popular wines is the "blanc de noir," which is French for "white frorm black." It's a sparking wine, made mainly from pinot noir grapes. Drop in if you are in the area, they will make you welcome.

Dominique Portet Winery has a touch of French tradition in it's wines! Ben Portet is a tenth generation winemaker with his roots in Australia and that of his Father from the Medoc area, Bordeaux, in France . The wines are great and to be enjoyed easily, the Sparkling Rose and rose a hit. Try the cabernet sauvignon and Heathcote shiraz. The very simple Winemaker's cafe with delicious baguettes, Mediterranean tarts and French chicken pies are always ready or Monte coffee with a home made cakes! The La Boutique homewares are easy browsing and add a bit of enjoyment. The tour et detours, are well worth while if you are after a learning experience. Otherwise enjoy the space and just play petanque as you breathe in the fresh air.
Amazing wine, food was exceptional and the staff were unbelievable!!! Arrived for our private tasting with Michael, he told us about Dominique's journey from France to Australia. We tasted the incredible range. Perfect!! Brianna and the staff were INCREDIBLE.... so fun and friendly!! The 3 course menu was to die for. The BEST day ever!!!!

Nestled within the Napoleone Family Orchards, the Napoleone Orchard Bar is the newest addition to the wide range of artisanal venues in Victoria’s Yarra Valley. Combining style and sustainability the shipping container bar has been crafted by local maker and designer, Simon Wightwick. The menu will pay homage to the humble apple – house-made apple and pear ciders, imports from France and a selection of Australian guest ciders. Calvados and Applejacks feature as well as cocktails designed by Rob Hall, who will lead the bar through it’s opening season and beyond, both as creative head and manager of hospitality. Hall’s resume includes The Botanist, Sloane Square (London) and The Royal Shakespeare Company, Stratford upon Avon – he is excited for the opportunity to work with hyper local, field to shaker produce and has designed the menu to highlight the integrity of the raw materials. The Orchard Bar will be a garden party celebrating all things cider, one hour from the Melbourne CBD.
Wow, you need to get there by 11am to make sure you secure a table. It has a deserved great reputation. You can do a beer and cider/apple/pear tasting, and they have a great menu and wine list - then the view to the vineyards and the hotel are just terrific. Food was excellent ! get there early.
