It was our first time to visit Mt. Dora and we wondered why there were so many cars everywhere on this weekend. The next morning I was searching for things to do and saw this show-listing so we headed over there about 11:30. We couldn't believe all the cars parked at the market and how massive this was. We first walked a good portion of the flea market and the buildings on that side. We didn't see much we 'needed' and then headed over to the antique side about 2:30. We enjoyed this side much more as we looking at so many interesting items. They have these cute little buildings that are open every weekend but we didn't have enough time to go in many of them. That probably was a good thing as we kept finding things to buy in this area! It turns out that we were there during an Extravaganza Weekend that only takes place three times a year. During these shows, they have far more vendors than every weekend.

Anchored on one end by Crooked Can Brewing this market is a great place. Plenty of outdoor seating under the old trees. A great variety of things to eat like sushi, fresh made donuts, made to order ceviche, sweets from the chocolatier, sandwiches or fresh meat from the awesome Butcher’s Deli. Not to be missed if you are in the area.

The market features some of Orlando's top food entrepreneurs, tradespeople, artists & chefs. Visitors will take pleasure in discovering treasures from among the dozen or so merchants, all presented in a food hall atmosphere. You'll find delectable bites like ramen, artisan cheeses, craft beer, gourmet pastries & acai bowls. For some entertainment, pull up a chair in the courtyard for live music.
Found the East End Market listed in a magazine for something to do other than theme parks while in Orlando, so we decided to check it out and we were not disappointed. It’s awesome! Many food vendors and craft shops. We had cookies from Gideons Bakehouse that were delicious and potato green onion bread from Olde Hearth Bread Company, which was equally delicious. If you are in Orlando, take the time to stop and enjoy this eclectic assortment of shops.

Driving along, saw signs and stopped. Good ole hearty American fun. Huge midway, plenty of food options and only $9. Loved the pie eating contest (see pics)

Best antique selection in Central Florida! Home to over 60 quality antique vendors under one air-conditioned roof!
Loved browsing through the shop, found several items that I cant wait to use, a beautiful painted glass pitcher with 4 matching goblets and an awesome appetizer tray. The shop was clean and extremely organized. The staff exceptionally friendly. Will visit again next time we make it back to Mount Dora!!

A walk through the Markets of Marion was "an experience," that's for sure. And, there were plenty of honest to goodness DEALS to be made. We started at the farthest end, outside, where there were tables full of tools, parts and "stuff" that you'd expect to see at a large garage sale. Continuing on under the cover of row upon row of vendors selling new and home made craft items, and even some darts good caramel corn. It was fun.
