I recently visited Port Barton and stayed at the Oasis Port Barton. While their rooms were great and the location only a block from the beach was ideal, their bar and restaurant was the highlight for me! It's set up like the perfect tropical entertainment venue, with shaded, open-air seating so you can people come and go on the sand-road and practically smell the ocean. The restaurant has plenty of space and tables - and they needed it, as they were one of the most popular restaurants every night, for travelers, expats, and Filipinos alike - a fun and lively mix! They have big TVs where I could watch the NBA playoffs or any sports I requested, a killer bar with REAL handmade margaritas and just about every other drink and cocktail, and even workable Wi-Fi! I tried a half-dozen items on their menu over my stay, and LOVED their fresh seafood and also Bulalo - beef bone marrow soup with vegetables. It's a great menu of Filipino dishes modernized, local fish caught only hours earlier, plus the best of western food. However, the best part of the restaurant was the staff! The gals and guys working there were all super sweet and friendly, warm, caring, and just FUN! I made friends with most of them and just sitting there eating and chatting with them was the highlight of my trip - even with beautiful beaches and islands in Port Barton! Salamat and you should definitely try the Oasis! Thanks Norman. It was our pleasure to meet You here and to be Your host. Great that You liked it. We are looking forward to see you again on Your next journey to Palawan.

Small homey restaurant away from the hustle bustle of the city situated in a small compound which it shares with a forest and weaving center. Serves heirloom, family recipe inspired dishes using farm sourced, local high quality ingredients.
Decided to have a dinner at this place after reading the reviews. Made an order from the plate rice section ... they brought me something like braised meat ... very sour and salty. For husband - some kind of stew with a very strict taste .. as if the meat is not fresh. We didnât have to eat .. I donât recommend it.. Itâs also indicative that there were no other clients besides us...

Ka Inato is your best bet for local Filipino cuisine when in Puerto Princesa. Enjoy their extensive menu (try their grilled bestsellers) in their relaxed restaurant with ethnic Palawan interiors. Plus it also helps that you're supporting employment for their hearing-impaired staff.

Went here for the second time, it always amazed us. great sunset, great cocktails and great food! don't miss their mango margharitas! they are definitely tthhee best!a little more expensive than your typical restaurant, in the end you pay more because you would want to be here before 6 for the sunset then you'd have appetizers and get more appetizes and drinks. But definitely recommending Cadlao Restaurant - and the resort as well!

According Time Music. Premium Cocktails,Exclusive Spanish Tapas,Paellas. Best Sunset in el Nido Palawan.
The less enthusiastic reviews of this place are true: you do need to get here super early for a good spot because it's so small, service is very slow because it gets so crowded, and there are a million other spots very similar to it! All true. The entire beach faces West, so any bar or restaurant along the beach will get you a great view. However, we were lucky enough to get to Republica very ahead of time and got front row seats to one of the most spectacular sunsets we've ever seen on our first night in El Nido here - with yummy pina coladas and croquettes in hand! Music was great as well. Our time here was maybe one of our best nights of our trip -- but yes, we likely could have had the same experience elsewhere, so no sweat if you're too late to get the best seats.

Your home away from home in El Nido, Palawan. A proudly Filipino restaurant serving traditional comfort food. Open daily from 7am-10pm
Returning from a long day trip to an isolated island off the coast of Sibaltan, we had dinner at Tambok's. People recommended the Pancit Buko which is really a variation on the Ilongo version of Lumpiang Ubod making it more like a salad with plenty of fresh vegetables. The cheese sticks with a sweet and spicy sauce was absolutely divine, together with the Lechon sa Kawali and Sisig. However, what makes this restaurant exceptional is the staff who attend to you. Very friendly with a good sense of humor and very efficient. Both the food and the staff make this place well worth the trip. The only complaint I have was that the outside dining area where we ate had lots of flying insects that ended up in our drinks despite having the electric fan pointed at us. Might be helpful if they used an electric bug zapper instead to address the problem of flying insects.
