A road side 'mini restaurant' that quickly whips up flavorful American/European dishes. My favorite dish is their cordon blue (very cheesy) and my wife loves their mozzarella sticks. One of the few Camiguin eateries that are open until the wee hours of the morning. Expect friendly service and to meet a wide variety of expats and Filipino tourists.

This was the first stop for us. Great food with great service. Prices are very affordable. A local favorite. The owner Salome was even there to make sure everything was perfect. Got the crispy noodles and grilled pork. Washed it down with a freshly picked coconut. Definitely #1 in my book

Secret Cove Restaurant

We ate here after reading the mostly excellent reviews on Tripadvisor, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. Where to start? The path leading to the restaurant was pitch black, and quite hazardous in parts. The menu is old and tatty and needs a revamp as this does not create a favourable impression to the visitor. Items that had been removed from the menu had been crossed out by hand and it looked very amateurish. To be fair, the food was of good quality when it arrived, but unfortunately the service was so truly dire that it completely ruined our experience. We were the only party eating at the restaurant on this particular night so you might expect the service to be above average at the very least; but no - the staff spent most of their time on Facebook and on their mobile phones and completely ignored us. We sat with our empty plates for around 20 minutes and ended up with our daughter clearing the table herself by pointedly placing the dirty dishes on the bar. Even then the staff did not take the hint. The dessert (mango cheesecake) was delicious, but again we sat with uncleared dishes whilst the staff did their own thing. There were four staff in the restaurant that evening, but none of them appeared to be remotely interested. At one point, two of them sat eating at another table, whilst we waited for our bill.... and waited, and waited. It really was beyond a joke. This was the only restaurant on our island hopping trip to the Philippines where were were forced to pay a 10% gratuity - oh the irony! The worst service we've had, and the staff get an inclusive tip!!! When we finally managed to get our bill and pay it (with the inclusive service charge), we politely asked if they would be kind enough to phone us a tricycle to enable us to return to our accommodation some distance away. Initially this was met with hostile stares, and a completely unhelpful and disinterested attitude. It was only when my husband asked whether "the boss" was available (and was told he was not on site) that their attitude improved (slightly). At this point, they conveniently remembered the number of a local driver that could assist us. I really believe that the owner of this restaurant cares about the service his customers receive. The food is very, very good. But the service is appalling and the staff need to be spoken to and service improved upon. We left with a bad taste in our mouths and a tainted view of this place. What a shame. Tom, you need to take things in hand or your reputation will suffer and it's such a pity. Please take this review in the manner in which it is intended - for improvements to be made so that when you are absent from site, your staff do not take advantage by ignoring customers and offering a service that you yourself would not find acceptable.I would like to sincerely thank you for taking the time and effort to write such a truthful, helpful andconstructive review. I believe at the time of your visit my wife and I were in Singapore, not an excuse, just a fact. I must tell you that I am very disappointed in my staff, as the saying goes 'when the cats away the mice will play" I just never thought that it was a bad as your experience and I must find a way to try to acertain it does not happen again. It appears to me at this point that the very least is for me to remove the 10% gratuity, as these funds went 100% to our staff, Of the 4 staff, 2 of them have been working here for less than 3 months the other 2 for almost 3 years, I hope that I will not have to dismiss more than 2 personsWe will have a meeting this afternoon to discuss the details of this incidence and I will decide after the meeting and hearing what input they wish to contribute. As this has damaged my business (We have gone from the #3 Restaurant to #7 on Camiguin) I will be requesting ideas, plans with them on how they will assist in getting our ratings back in the top 3.I hope at some future date you will come by the Restaurant & introduce yourself and have a coffee with me. FYI our new menus arrived from Manila 2 days after we returned from Singapore, again you were right the old ones do not do our food justice.RegardsTom & Bida S.

We arrived at Benoni Port at around 1 PM after a very long and exhausting travel from CDO airport. Upon arrival at Benoni Port, I chartered a multi-cab to bring us to this restaurant and wait for us while we had our lunch, before bringing us to our hotel - the Paras Beach Resort, which was 45 min. away. At the restaurant, we got a table near at, and with a nice view of the lagoon. However, they charge Php 150 for the use of that space. The restaurant was clean and quaint. We were promptly attended to by a waitress, where we ordered some seafood, meat, and vegetables. The service was relatively fast enough, and the quality of food was satisfactory. They also have a zipline that you can try while waiting for your meals to be served. The only thing I disliked was the extra Php 150 for using their lagoon-side tables.

Camiguin Northern Lights

Having struggled for some two days to find a restaurant that served to both of our tastes we stopped at Northern Lights as we were cruising expecting to only find a less than adequate eatery/restaurant for lunch. We loved Northern Lights, we were still waiting for our lunch to be served as I went to ask my Filipina partner “are we to come here for dinner this evening?', I didn't even manage to finish asking the question before she replied “YES'. :)Their menu is more than adequate with portion sizes large, we ended up eating at Northern Lights for two days before leaving the island and we have no hesitation in recommending this place, overall I offer it 4 stars but for their ice cream, that I didn't get to taste, my partner offers them 5 stars. :)

the food was ok, took too long to serve, the owner was friendly we were enjoying ourselves until we received the bill, shock shock shock the over priced of the food was bad enough then the owner in his greed added on 5% service charge to the bill, this is a real con and an insult we Filipinos do not add a service charge, never ever again will we step foot in that pizza joint, yes the setting was nice but too far out off the highway and town. go there at your own peril.Ripped off? Never in over 4 years of serving local Camiguin natives and so many visitors from around the world have we ever heard that one. We have way too many satisfied customers, 80 % of whom are filipino, to take your review seriously. Also know that most Filipinos are not accustomed to tipping waitresses. I suspect you are one of those. So because of that, our 5%service charge is shared and goes directly to our waitresses to help them raise their families. We see none of that for ourselves. After being away for almost a year in Davao to assist my wife's Mother in her last days , we are back in Little Bridges by popular demand. Our former customers have returned thank you God, and continue to enjoy our old dishes and some new ones. Sorry you are not among them.

We 'discovered' Casa Roca a few days before we left Camiguin which was a shame. If they had had space, I would have extended my stay but all the rooms were booked so I can only comment on the restaurant.Which is fabulous! Great food (mostly Western dishes with an Asian twist) with many and varied specials all at very reasonable prices.Happy hour beer and delicious cocktails at good prices all set in a lovely garden overlooking the ocean perfect for sundowners. The service was exceptional and the music was perfect; background 'chill' catered to the clientele rather than overly loud pop music that the staff want to listen to.Jim and Evelyn have done a great job here; highly recommended.
