Woven with wild greenery and Gaelic legends, the Emerald Isle is one of Europe’s most prized jewels. Rugged Atlantic beaches and mystery-shrouded sites rub shoulders with the cosmopolitan cities of Belfast and Dublin, where literary history and warm Irish hospitality are always in abundance.

We used the ferry to get to hook lighthouse duncannon fort Loftus Hall. It was very quick only a couple of minutes. The kids loved it. Very well priced at €12 return. Saved road travel time as well.

We had a wonderful experience on Saturday with Seamus, John and Paddy Joe. They were so helpful, professional and attentive to everyone. Louise at the desk was so accommodating and professional while answering all queries. They had so much knowledge of the area and were so helpful with questions from the kids! Fantastic experience and would highly recommend it! John and Catherine Galway

We were brought by the lovely Joe O'Malley over to Inishbiggle in his beautiful currach and it was like stepping into the world of an Ireland long forgotten. It is a beautiful tranquil place just a few minutes away from Achill in the boat but a world apart. Take some drinks and walking gear and wander the lanes with some inhabited farms and some forgotten in time. The boat trip was easy and lovely and Joe even took a detour on the way back to show us a seal "ag cru na greine" on a rock off Dugort. A fabulous experience for all the family - including the doggy!

A very nice person, who will tell you about the history off Dalkey island... and more :-) For 8.00€ he will bring you to the little island and will come and get you when you are ready. Just go and stand on the concrete stairs, enjoy the seals and wave at him ;-)
