I called for fish and chips at tea time on Wednesday 12th June. Usually in the past they are nice from this shop but on this occasion there was hardly any fish in the portion and it was dried up to the point where it was inedible.The portions are quite large with enough chips for 2 but on this day at £5.80 it was an expensive bag of chips. We will try again to see if we were just unlucky on this day.

Had a couple of good takeaway meals from here with friends and family. Ease of ordering very good both online app and via telephone. Good choice of meals. Reasonable prices. Speedy Delivery and best of all hot tasty and decent food. Our go to choice when the kitchen is closed in our house. Particular enjoy kebabs and thin and crispy pizza.

Order form these guys last night as I ordered quite frequently from them as they do things other takeaways dont such as deserts and milkshakes theres so much to choose from anyway I ordered a pizza and I got a free garlic bread on delivery however instead of my pizza I got another garlic bread I ran the shop and they told me if I rang the next night they'd send me a free 16 inch pizza which they did very impressed customer service is great as is the food will definetely continue ordering top job guys

We moved to Howden three years ago and we have had 50+ Pizza King orders delivered. (We are on a diet now!)Lovely fresh pizza with a range of toppings. Always tastes really good. Personal favourite is vegetarian hot pizza. Partner prefers tuna plus or four seasons. Well worth a visit or delivery.

What can I say? Food cooked fresh and always delicious. We had the mixed kebab (koftas to die for), comes with a warmed pitta bread, large tub of salad, yogurt and chilli sauce which is simply yum. I had as always the chicken shish kebab (lamb and chicken) with the same as above but always with a tub of home made coleslaw which is excellent. As we spent over £12 they throw in a home made tomato and garlic bread which is just yummy. The staff are always friendly and it's definitely somewhere to keep returning to. Keep it up guys!!

We frequently go to the above. The owners work in the Bistro. The food is excellent and there is plenty of it. There is a childrenâs menu also. The price is excellent. The staff are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble. They also have party nights.

Friday is Fish day. Right?We ordered 1 well done fish and chips and 1 fish and chips. When they arrived, they were both pale and undercooked. The inside of the batter was very doughy.I'm afraid we won't be back.Iâm sorry you didnât enjoy your fish and chips. If you feel you could visit again I would be happy to refund you and offer fish and chips on me and assure you we will get it right next time. If not then my sincere apologies.

Picked up 2 large haddocks, chips and 2 large peas to take home. When dished out, most of batter remained on wrapping, hadnât been drained long enough and wrapped too quickly. Chips were ok, nothing startling, peas were tasty but as for a large portion, not sure many people would be happy. Small must be very small. Expensive for what we got. Itâs a lot better when you sit in, so will probably not use as a takeaway only as a sit down with a cuppa

A first time at this chippy. Fish freshly cooked and a good size. I would have preferred the chips to be a bit more crispy but they still tasted good. We waited for as long as it took to cook the fish. And a bonus.....scraps!! Will be going back.
