Things to do in Alliston
Serving Canadian customers since 1963. Original home of all-day breakfast. Truly Canadian.
Had a quick #1 off the menu,...Bigmac with fries and milk. It came relatively quickly but the service was incredible,..and with lots of smiles from everyone,..even those not serving me. My meal was fresh and warm. They also asked if I wanted 2 pies which I declined,..but nice they offer other items should I want them. It was a take out meal but they also have a quiet sit down area. This is located inside the door to the entrance of Walmart which is very convenient.
One thing positive I can say about Wendy's is the consistency from store to store with their food. This place is the same as the rest, you know what you are getting and no surprises. There are however, much healthier choices right in this area.
My wife and I took my buddy out for his birthday. We like St. Louis bar and grill when we meet up.It was our second visit to this location.I had a rib and wing comboWife had a wrapBuddy had a burgerEverything was just OK.Definitely had better. Not bad enough to complain, but nothing to rave about.Waitress was INCREDIBLY friendly and bubbly but did mess up my wifeâs drink order. We will be going back. It was fine. Just hoping our next experience is back to usual standards.

We stopped in here to take home a bucket of chicken along with some French Fries, gravy and macaroni salad which came with the meal deal and also a Big Mary Deluxe chicken burger. We really enjoyed the chicken when we got home,...as well as the burger. The burger had bacon, cheese and tomato on it which was very fresh tasting. The chicken as always was fresh and had LOTS of meat on each piece and not greasy at all. We nibbled on the fried on the way home and unfortunately they could have been cooked longer but we still ate them as we were hungry,..no huge disaster here at all, as I will still go and ask for them to be done a bit longer next time perhaps. Bill came to $51.16 for two of us in total.

We recently tried Sinbad's Fish & Chips and though the fish batter was light and crispy the fish portion was extremely small and way too many fries. For the price of the order for two we were expecting two nice size crispy pieces of fish and would have preferred less fries. We will try another Fish & Chip place in Alliston for comparison before we go back to Sinbad's.

Finally made it over to Champ Burger to try it out. We wanted to see how it compared to the previous burger joint in that location. There is a much more extensive menu than we had expected. However we wanted to try the Burgers. We both ordered a Champ Burger.I got cheese. Had to get some fries too.Itâs quite a tasty burger but didnât really meet my expectations. As specialty burger restaurants go itâs not in my top 3.For the extra money and longer wait time Iâd expect a little better.Iâm not saying there was anything wrong with the burger. But Iâd probably just go to Wendyâs next time.Iâll get my specialty burgers elsewhere.

We have visited the Halibut House more than a few times now and have always been very pleased with the service. The restaurant is bright and clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We have tried both the halibut and the haddock. The batter is thin and crisp and the fries are very tasty. There is plenty of food. The Greek salad is wonderfully fresh and the dressing homemade. There is a $7 special for Haddock on Sunday's and Monday's and daily lunch size specials as well. Definitely worth checking out for the price. Would definitely recommend this as your go-to place.

Stopped in for lunch between games for our Hockey Tournament and what a treat - wish we lived in Alliston!! The pizza was NYC or Chicago good and from order to table it was 15 mins. The pie was delicious - we had sausage, pepperoni and green olives and the flavors were distinct and outstanding. A large was way too much for two of us so we had left-overs to take home. My Son order the penne with meat sauce and it too was delicious. The sauce had an authentic Italian flavor and the pasta was cooked correctly. The service was great and there is a very nice dine-in side to the restaurant. A large pizza and an order of pasta, meat sauce and garlic bread came to $31.00 with tax for 3 people - great value!! You won't be disappointed!
