Excellent day spent at Edgars mission . Tour guide for the day was so brilliant and very informative. Loved every minute of it and can’t wait to go back for the premium tour . All the animals there are looked after amazingly, they truely have found heaven on earth after touching upon hell . Brilliant place and extraordinary human angels that run this place ... bless you all

I stopped in here to pick up some little jam jars for a Christmas hamper I was putting together. Service was friendly and efficient and there was a good range of products to choose from. Little cafe is quite rustic but nice for a quick bite off the beaten track.

What a wonderful entertained day we had at this fantastic farm. Everything for a young family to experience the outdoors with all the animals and rides on offer. They also have facilities for childrens parties in a large covered area. We finished off our day with a lovely lunch at the cafe on site. Will definately be going back.

Animal Land was originally established on 15th October 1985. Our Goals are to provide children a wonderful place to learn about farm animals. Animal land has been specifically set up to give children that real hands on farming experience. Children can only learn so much in the class room. Here they get to scratch, feel, smell and hear all the experiences of life on a farm. From the moment you arrive, you will be treated with that friendly country welcome. We started opening only in the last term of the year with a couple of kinders and schools. Now we have over 7500 visitors per annum. These include schools, kinders, playgoups, social groups, birthday parties, Christmas break ups and open days to the general public. Over the years there has been a lot of changes and we have plans for more. Check out some of the old and new photos we have found in the photo gallery. If you have any old animal land photos you would like to share with us drop us an email and we will include them.

We stayed in bright for a week and on the great Alpine road at Eurobin found the sign For the Red stag and deer farm which was up Hughes lane which climbed gently to the farm. The restaurant had beautiful fews over the valley with plenty inside and outside tables. We order coffee and their famous scones which was the size of bread rolls which we had to cut into four to eat with very tasty jam and cream and the price was very reasonable. There is also small buckets of feed for the kids to feed the deer emu and coats.

Pick Your Own Berries
$7.50 for a 'small punnet'. The punnet was bigger than what you get at the supermarket for the same price. The berries were the best we've had in a long time and we had many samples along the way. Our toddler loved it too. Not crowded at all. We'll go back next time we are in the area.

We had a great time fishing with our 4 and 1.5 year olds. The 4 year old now thinks he is a master fisherman, the 1.5 year old fed the fish happily, and we took dinner home (fresh, smoked and pate) - everyone wins! I did restrict my fisherman to three fish so we didn’t get a shock as we left...
